I don't remember the last time the KLPGA were on the AIRPORT island. I'll have to look it up. It has been a while since the KLPGA has been to any Sky72 course.
I think this event might have some wind. I could be wrong.

I thought this was a mistake on your part, but you are right ... the KLPGA hasn't been here Nov. 2020 (Hana Financial). They used to be here every year. MHL is (or was) a big shot here ... used to have a Sky 72 logo on her attire.
I looked up this place on Google Maps and it has a notation of "Permanently closed" for Sky 72 Golf & Resort and Sky 72GC sky course ... obviously, that can't be right. This might be a premature reference to the fact that some or all of the golf course property was leased from Incheon Airport ... all hell broke loose when they tried to serve an eviction notice in January:
Also, last week's Shinhan Donghae Open on the KPGA was played at Club72 (per Wikipedia).

I still loathe the overhauled KLPGA website ... I found the Friday threesomes, but the stupid screen keeps refreshing ... really stupid, the frickin' tournament hasn't started yet!!!!
We'll get limited exposure for the Big Three of Su Ji, Hong Kong and Yeah, Lee Won since they'll start at 8:25 AM at #10. It appears that Sakura Yokomine has become Sakura Morikawa for this week, as well as for Hana Financial next week.  Quite an usual collection of invitees for Hana:

The last time they played THIS 18 holes at Sky72 was the BMW Ladies Championship in 2017 won by Ko Jin Young. Yeah. A long time ago. |

The broadcast starts now and it should be the Yeah, Lee Won show ... just stuffed it to four feet and made the birdie putt at the par-5 18th to shoot 5-under on her first 9.
