Yewon's first boggie.
Tee shot into the rough. Not a crisis.
Second shot landed short side rough.
This is where she lost her par.
The third shot hit a sprinkler head.
The second boggie was a lip out of a fairly routine par putt.
She was millimeters from 8-under.
Tomorrow, round two will be a battle. Likely harder pin positions and 6 or 7 players at 6-under not wanting to be left behind.

Nice birdie on eighteen by Jeongeun Lee6, with all the birdies flying around it helps. Jeongmin Moon tied at the top of the Leaderboard after her Dream Tour win. She said doing her Dream Tour interview that she is working on getting more accurate. It seems to be working just fine. Maybe Shin Shil Bang should consider doing that also.

OK round by Hee Jeong Lim minus four, tee to green was great but not much luck on putts.
She missed makable birdie putts on four five and six, her approach shot on seven came within six inches for an Eagle.
On eighteen her long birdie putt went around the hole instead of in it.
Some of the golfers if their long putt come near the hole it seem to pull it in, but the hole seems to push hers away.
So Yeon plus three will go home early.
I was really hoping that she could build some confidence on these flat greens and wide fairways.
Looks like she has other problems that may be too late to fix, or maybe not.

Some thoughts:
This was a rare KLPGA event where they set the course up too easy and, as a result, we got an LPGA-like leaderboard: a bunch of players you rarely see contend on the leaderboard while a lot of stars languished. Look at the top ten: other than one or two players, no one had won a tournament before, and even the previous winners (like Joo Mi Lee) had only one win to their credit. As a result, it was kind of hard to enjoy the broadcast. A lot of nerves, a lot of sloppy stuff. I don't think I've ever even heard of So Yi Jeong, yet she somehow ended up in a playoff. Da Som Ma was definitely the best of that group, and probably should have a win on her resume, but
even she was a bundle of nerves it seems.
The one highlight for me was Min Sol Kim, who was brilliant as usual. I love watching this kid; so much poise, so much power. Good luck to her in China at the Asian Games; it would be really sweet if she spanked Yin and took home the gold.
Oh well, next week we'll get a fuller field and perhaps some more stars back in the mix. Hwaiting!

It's good that the KLPGA give them a break from their usual course setups.
Because they are usually beat up by 6550 yards or more courses with very little run out with their drives.
Unlike the Major LPGA Tour that have a lot shorter courses with lots of run out
The LPGA last five Tournaments were 6546,6506, 6478, exception CPKC 6708, ISP 6649
