For an event that looked so grim yesterday, I guess it turned out OK in the end. Hae Ran had an OK result, Hye Jin just missed out on a top ten, Mi Hyang netted a top five for the cause, and Minjee Lee grabbed the win. It's nice for her to get one this year.

Why do I feel embarrassed about being the one Minjee fan. She is beautiful, terse, and utterly professional. And Seoul sister-adjacent. I think you all just can't handle serious, independent women.
Terse?! Dictionary.com has two definitions for that word ... I don't think either apply. But, I have a description of all her interviews: non-addictive sleeping tablets. In her defense, there's nothing new to talk about. The game is absurdly easy for her ... she's already in sem-retirement mode (skipping VOA and Walmart this year, but will play HANA). She's never had anything close to a bad season (16th or better on the money list), has been with the Srixon/XXIO/Cleveland empire forever, same HANA cap, hasn't done a swing overhaul and rarely changes loopers. Attractive for sure, although she doesn't flaunt it in her apparel choices ... I wonder what she could do with that Master Bunny visor/knee high number that Jung Mi Hwang wears on the KLPGA, hmmm.🙄
You can get a rise out of her if the occasion is right.

MHL dropped to 3rd in Sand Save Percentage. ðŸ˜
I skimmed over the various LPGA highlight reels from Sunday and didn't see her eagle at #10 ... I guess the camera crews were on a bathroom break at the time.

I like Minjee, I'm just a little annoyed that she has captured several wins away from players I love by launching huge come-from-behind rallies. Still haven't fully forgiven her for Evian a few years ago, or this year's Intl Crown. However, I LOVE it when she takes down someone like Hull. More of that, please, Minjee!  My favorite moment on tour with her is still the team up with Jin Young Ko at the team event a few years ago, where they shot a 58. What an amazing team they were! Minjee has more makeup on her left sleeve than any player except Terminator. I always want to introduce myself to her groom to be, but he might have a temper so I back off.
