Aigoo, brutal break for Min Byeol Kim! In her first four holes she had a bogey-bogey and quad. The quad had her hit two consecutive shots OB. She's way out of it and is now trying to avoid DFL. Well, better luck next time I guess!

Min Byeol is gonna be such a stud. She followed up her horrendous +7 on the front nine with five birdies and a bogey on the back to rebound to +3 and (as of now) T-37th. That +7 would have destroyed many players, but she put her head down and got it done. Impressive!

Looks like Iron Cho has gotten out of her funk  ... nice grouping with JTibs  ... nobody cared about the third player in her group.   ********* I'm glad I slept through a big chunk of the Round Three broadcast so I didn't have to watch the ROK's Ladies Club Champion, Ye Seong Jeon, any more than I had to. With her totally vanilla, undynamic and boring swing, she has no business leading this tournament. She's a lousy chipper, too ... after a weak effort from the rough around the 18th green, I'm guessing the broadcast color lady Shin tore into her technique immediately. Can't believe she has a tour win in 2021 ... if she couldn't putt (she made a TON today), she'd be dead out here. I'll be stunned if she wins Sunday ... Su Ji and Yeah, Lee Won are so much better golfers, it's not even close. Btw, did you see that Major League flop shot by JTibs from the rough surrounding the 18th green?  Made par saver putt ... not really feeling a win for her Sunday, but who knows .... |

Great win by the Korean Kyriacou ... and she's probably better than that, but we'll never know if she doesn't quit the minor leagues ... the LPGA Q-Series entry window is Sept. 6 thru Oct. 10.
She gave a quick shout out to Team Taylormade in her TV interview ... aside from the driver, I haven't noticed what gear she carries ... plays a Titleist ball.

Does Yeah, Lee Won have an organized Fanboy Mob following her with synchronized roars every time she makes a birdie putt? She certainly deserves it ... if not, consult the army following Min Ji Park on how to start one.
What's the story about the spectators' orange Hanwha umbrellas? They're everywhere at the Jade Palace. Are they a hot seller there? I assume they're not freebies. It wouldn't surprise me if KLPGA serial spectators have a collection of them for each occasion ... Hanwha, Doosan, KB Star, Hite, etc.

I'm well known to Yewon and her family and managers. For the longest time, I was the ONLY fan willing to follow her around the course. There were some who wanted autographs after her rounds, especially after she won, and some online, but following her was only me and her family.
For the first time that's changing. I think one or two people, not family, attempt to follow Yewon around the course. Not sure how successful they were. One invited me to join some new Naver Cafe someone set up for her.
Every event has free umbrellas.

I was surprised and sad to see 손가은 on the subway platform alone in her uniform. I don't know if she was going back to seoul or what. She wasn't taking my train. Where was her family and friends? I know the trains can be convenient, but alone? I felt sad for her.
