To get to Jade Palace this week...
Go to Mang-oo Station. Transfer to Take a train or subway train whatever east towards Chuncheon and get off at GaPyeong Station 가평 a few stops before Chuncheon. The subway train to GaPyeong will be about 1.5 hours.
There will be a Hanwha Classic shuttle bus there. It's about a 15min ride to Jade Palace.
Tickets 🎟 at the gate will be ₩30,000 each.
I have my ticket already. Get tickets online for ₩21,000.

I've only been in Korea once in my life and I think my wife would have killed me if I spent that time going to a KLPGA event. I did watch one round of an event live on TV while I was there, though!

Talk about a weak introduction by SYF ... in case no one picked up on it above, JTibs is in the house this week.
*********
Curious decision regarding the invitation to Jeeno Jat ... may not mean anything. I think the last non-Korean megastar invitee from the LPGA to play this event was Korda Two in 2019.

If Jenny Shin hadn't probably changed her Korean name, I would have probably cared. They had her listed as Ji Eun Shin which is maybe her Korean name. If Amy Yang plays a KLPGA Tournament and they list her Korean name so would I. So if it bothers someone look it up because I wont, It's hard enough listing the Korean names translated, to Thinning, Precedent etc.

At the AIG, Jeeno said she loves K-Dramas and thinks she's "maybe a little bit Korean," so she might have asked her management to push for an invite.

The rough was really high last year. I'm very curious how thick it will be this year.
I remember the Queens Crown event last year had thick rough.
Isn't Jade Palace the course with a short par four a few players could get eagle chances from the fringe? 330y 10th hole.

Per the above article, the rough will be 80mm high, instead of 150mm last year.
Jeeno Jat says Hanwha called her after Thailand won the UL Crown.

The broadcast started at the 10th tee and the back nine holes ... the first group had JTibs, who will get more TV time in Round One than all of her 2023 LPGA events combined ... looks like she brought over her LPGA loop and I think Jeeno Jat did the same. The 10th hole is a steeply downhill par-4 of 330 yards ... Human drove the green and two-putted from 44 feet for a birdie ... the radar says she drove it 290. Meanwhile, Bang is only player I've seen so far tee off at #10 with an iron ... hit it into the left rough, but made par. The alluring and mysterious Song Yi Ahn has the solo lead at -2 thru 7 holes, but is playing the front side ... will they show her at all?

Bang is playing with A Lim Kim today and tomorrow. Should be interesting to see who hits it farther.
Also I notice that Inky is in the field...

Do they have Interns running the Broadcast, they have shown Jenny Shin miss the bogey putt five times. I guess it's the rain OK eleven times the same putt.
