I think a lot of you don't know how hot Hot5 is. I believe Five is hot, I can see her results in the recent LPGA tournaments. But no one watching Golf Channel can see that Lee5 is hot because they never show her. Not once on Saturday! They showed Brooke Henderson almost every hole as she sank further and further behind. Brooke's playing partner was Jeongeun Lee6 and I can only recall seeing her golfing one time on the broadcast. Six had a good round after she turned things around on the back nine. They would show Brooke and sometimes you could see Six in the background wearing a bright pink outfit. I know that Brooke is popular in Canada, but they already had a camera showing her on each hole, why couldn't they spend a few more seconds showing Six who was moving up into the top ten on moving day? Go Hot5 and Lucky6! And all the other sisters!

Round 3 This was almost the round I was waiting for all year. Sei Young was on fire; Hole-in-one, then a gorgeous eagle on the drivable par 4, and she moved into a two shot lead. It looked like she might run away and hide, but she hit a few loose shots late and finished at 8 under. Meanwhile, Khang rescued herself with a few birdies late to move to 11 under. Seriously, this could have been a tie or even lead for Sei Young very easily. But she still is very much in this if she can play Sunday remotely like she did today. Jin Young was even more frustrating. She inexplicably decided to layup on the drivable hole, then missed the green and made par. Her approach on the par 5 15th just wouldn't stay where she hit it, leaving her a 30 footer for birdie (she missed). Then came 17: a perfect tee shot that hit the flagstick and bounded to the back of the green, upon which she three putted for bogey. Seriously, a tenth of an inch difference and she had an ace. On the other hand, Jin Young is really close to having a great round. This is the kind of course she loves to play. She has a target in site in Khang that won't see her coming and who has never won before. Time for A-game Jin Young to emerge at last and get the job done. Her other two wins this year came at events she has won before; why not again? Go Jin Young Go! Six and In Gee are in great positions for top tens. Between the two of them and Sei Young in 2023: 0 top tens. How about all of them getting one tomorrow? Hyo Joo, Five and Hye Jin could also get top tens with a great final day. Sisters hwaiting!!

Jin Young didn't get much going because she hit only ten greens. She may be too far out five strokes with one round to play. We should not count out Jin Young. If she has a good Sunday, she only has to beat two golfers ahead of her, Sei Young and Megan Khang. It's easier to be five strokes behind but only have to pass two golfers than to be, say, three strokes behind but have to pass eight golfers. It's just great to see both Jin Young and Sei Young competitive for the first time in several years.
I always support the sisters first! But if Megan Khang does win, it would be great to see an Asian-American get her first LPGA win. Laotian-American Megan Khang, her parents refugees from the fallout from the Vietnam War. Megan is the AMERICAN DREAM! God bless the USA! And go sisters!

There doesn't seem to be any TV footage of Sei Young's ace. Are there any links?

What's up with Lydia Ko who shot eighty two yesterday? I don't recall that she ever shot that high a score.

Playoff time ... nothing personal against the Junk Yard Ko, but I want Megan to get the monkey off her back ... and have it jump back on Xi Yu Lin's back.
******
Hate seeing those last two bogeys pop up on her scorecard at the end ... nevertheless, MHL is really golfing her ball almost every week 👍 ... and her CME project finish has her at #77 ... no stinkin' q-school if she stays under 80. Now it's on to Portland ... a dog in the last few years, but maybe not this year with a lot of players coming from nearby Van City.
******
Lousy Getty has no MHL pics from Sunday (yet?), but they watched her Saturday.

They said Lee Trevino let Calvin Peete win the Greater Milwaukee Open. No way.

I watched the whole thing and am gutted. Both our gals were riding the razor's edge all day. Alternating good and bad holes all day. SY looked nervous being back in contention and JY swing looked a litttle off.
