Well-rested MHL (+1) had a Getty shutterbug follow her group ... but took pics of Do and Kim only. 
UPDATE: Almost forgot ... MHL was 1-for-1 in sand saves, now T-2 with Albane V. (not playing this week, why?) ... Grace Kim went 0-for2, causing a big drop, but she's still in first.

The EMP (+6) emulating that male Korean pro with the wacky finishes ... I never noticed if she was a fast or slow player ...
... with Waitwait Zhang (-3) I already know.

Hyo Joon Jang (+7) brought some interesting visuals to NJ earlier this year ... can't say the same about her 7.400 CME Points.

Jin Young! And Sei Young! Last time Sei Young looked so good, she was winning majors in November and December... Last time Jin Young looked so good, Covid wasn't a thing...
And Six and Five! Except for her second nine on Thursday (which was the front nine) Six has been playing solidly, lots of pars, avoiding bad holes.
Nine of fourteen sisters will be playing golf on the weekend. Could have been ten... "Anna Lynn" 안나 린 was holding above the cut line until she bogeyed 16 and 17. She needed to birdie 18. Didn't happen... But hope springs eternal... Hyo Joon just birdied 14... maybe she'll put together a string of birdies somewhere in the remaining four holes.
TV coverage stuck to Rose like glue, so we heard a string of comments about every mistake and missed shot during her 75 round. But unless I missed something, there was actually some evidence of tact, grace, and mercy by Golf Channel as Lexi was not shown a single time.

Lexi was shown a couple of times including when they had Solheim Cup caption Stacy Lewis in the booth. Lewis pity-talked about Lexi saying she was a fighter and wasn't worried about her not doing well at Solheim. I'd be worried. Pair her up with Caroline Hedcase.

Round 2 Another strong round by Jin Young Ko! 17/18 GIR, and it would have been perfect until an unexpected bogey on the last hole. Still, she's just two back in the penultimate group tomorrow. Great position. Sei Young Kim and Lee6, both playing well? What is this, 2019? Six barely missed birdies on the final two holes but is just six back and t-11th. They even showed her on the broadcast! Sei Young's short game was particularly impressive. She made a few mistakes, but not enough to cramp her style too much. Hwaiting! Mi Hyang, Hyo Joo and Hye Jin also at -1, t-11th. That makes six Koreans in the top 20. In Gee and Hae Ran weren't great, but still easily made the cut. Go get 'em, Sisters! Hwaiting! Totally agree, HF, as I said, the last time these things happened, "Covid wasn't a thing..." And you are correct for pointing out that they did show Lee6 on the broadcast. I saw her twice, both on 17 and on 18. Six playing with Brooke on Saturday, so maybe they will show more of her... Go Sisters! |

I remember the interview with Stacy Lewis in the booth but wasn't paying good attention at that point, so I missed the images of Lexi. I don't remember which group included Lexi on Friday's broadcast but I think one of the other golfers was having success so the broadcast was showing that golfer. As one of her putts was heading toward the hole, I thought that saw Lexi's legs in the background... |

No changes Friday to the 2023 Sand Save Percentage scoreboard ... MHL had no attempts ... I'm not expecting a lot today as 71 is her best score on Moving Day this year.

I wonder if So Yeon Ryu is injured, she is not listed in the next two LPGA tournaments.
She is also not playing in KLPGA Tournaments either.
Both my favorites Hee Jeong Lim and So Yeon are not playing next week.
So Min Byeol Kim will have to step up to keep me interested, because Jin Young Ko is not playing.

... Six playing with Brooke on Saturday, so maybe they will show more of her... Well, they've already shown Brooke taking a stroke three times on the 9th hole. No sign of Six on the telecast. Brooke is +1 on the day so far, even for the tournament. So is Lee6.
And finally, thirteen minutes into the telecast, they mention that Sei Young aced the 8th hole.

Great round by Sei Young Km helped by a hole in one and a hole out vin two on a par four.
Making bogey on eighteen took a little off the round, but she is still in second place.
Jin Young didn't get much going because she hit only ten greens.
She may be too far out five strokes with one round to play.
In Gee Chun minus three moved her up twenty eight spots into the top ten.
Jeong Eun6 Lee had an up and down round which she dropped to plus one.
However she rebounded with three late birdies to move to tie for eighth place.
