Ah hah, ah hah, what did I say? ... Dr. Noh getting her own yardage ... Clarke is TOAST. So if getting her own yardage means that Dr. Nope is axing her caddie, what does that say about the EMP? If KT started doing this late in her round, maybe that's why she birdied 3 of her last 5 holes.

Round 2 Another strong day for In Gee! She was especially sharp during the broadcast, making three birdies early to move to 11 under. She made a few mistakes after that; her drive on the drivable par 4 ended up in a bad lie in the bunker and she had to hit away from the green to get it out. She then botched her pitch, leaving it about 20 feet short of the green, but then hit a great chip that did everything but fall in. She also managed a birdie on the final hole, which has played really tough this week; she also birdied it yesterday. Her putt was not more than ten feet. https://www.instagram.com/p/CfNYOkggTh0 https://www.instagram.com/p/CfNOQIOsgbJ She's going into the weekend in a great position; hopefully she can continue to fend off her challengers and increase her lead tomorrow. Great 69 today for Sei Young, finally having a good week, at least so far. Hye-Jin struggled a bit today but got back to 3 under and is on the first page of the leaderboard. Inky's still under par, as are Sung Hyun and A Lim. Alas, Jin Young just didn't bring it today and is still at even for the week. Hoping she can make a run up the board on moving day. Six missed the cut, but So Yeon rallied and made it. Sisters hwaiting!!!

Since Dusty is engaged to The EMP, whoever handles the gadget really doesn't matter, right? *
Btw, I heard Liz Nagel say last year that she trusts a yardage book MORE than a rangefinder.
* ... although I thought Prince Harry was engaged to Georgia Hall (correct?) ... and he hasn't been on her bag in weeks.

Chun needs to break out the knee highs. Full stop. Put a dagger in the mens tours.

I did not notice the drivable par four, must have fast forwarded past it. So what are they going to do to dumb down the course today. Have two drivable par fours shorten the other two par fives. I have finally realized that the people that run the LPGA has no integrity.

I just saw In Gee using a rangefinder on 17. I guess it's "So long, Dean!"

I wanted to say something about In Gee round today but was lost for words. What I did notice that even with the bogeys and double bogey. A little luck with her putts it could have been better. Her three birdies were short putts. She had three other birdie putts that looked like they were going in but didn't. Anyway she has a three shot lead and they have to catch her.
Hye Jin Choi and Sei Young Kim are still there as well.
So Yeon Ryu had five birdies but four bogeys. The good news is that minus one today moved her up thirty five spots. Jin Young Ko got to minus three but had two late bogeys. The short putt she missed for par was how her day had gone. She only missed three greens but had thirty two putts.
A shout out to the LPGA, for setting up the course as a Major. I hope they do the same tomorrow. So there will be no cheap win it will be earned by great play.

SYK is not who you want 3 back if you’re leading.

In korea I think the JTBC broadcasts the LPGA tour. Does anyone have a good link to a jtbc live stream? In the USA 🇺🇸 the live broadcasts often get cut off for other broadcasts. Many Americans would like the link to the korean stream.

To quote Phil K. from the JLPGA thread "The course is still playing tough ... only two scores below 70 in Round Three." The last group took 5 hours 40 minutes to finish as all shot rounds over par. Lydia was bad early, good in the middle and bad late.

Round 3 It was a brutal day for In Gee in some ways, but it also feels like she was still hitting a lot of great shots, just not converting birdies. And she sure didn't get a lot of breaks today, either. Combine that with some questionable decisions, and she was bent but not yet broken. Perhaps the weirdest hole was the par 5 16th. After a perfect drive, she somehow messed up her approach, ending up in some tall weeds. So why did she try to reach the green from there? She had a five-shot lead; if she does a drop or punches out, she's likely to be on the green in 4 with a chance for par and at worst a bogey. As it was, she got lucky that she ended up with a double; it could have been far worse. The 9-iron approach that flew the green was another weird decision. The balls seemed to be running a bit today, so she shouldn't be trying to land the ball so close to the flag. She had another hole, though, where she did hit it short only for the ball to roll fifty feet and off the back. So who knows? It didn't help that she was barely missing a number of putts that would have likely fallen the first two days. Despite all of that, she is still in the lead, still can take this title. Here's what she needs to do: make her chasers earn every shot they make up on her. No more stupid dropped shots. When she can make birdies, attack, but if she hits a bad shot and is in a bit of bother, don't attack! Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment, but I'm still in In Gee's corner and think she can win this. I was downright inspired by her quote today: https://www.instagram.com/p/CfPqLvEP_l_ I want In Gee to go out there tomorrow and seize the victory like the star she is. No backdown from this lady. Hwaiting! This will be a great test for Hye-Jin as well. She will be in the final group with a great chance to steal the trophy. She has Thitikul breathing down her neck again. This is a great chance to show the world what we here already know: Hye-Jin is a world beater. Sei Young has been all over the place but still has a chance to win despite some really dicey stuff. Jin Young will be playing with The Minjee, and I really want to see the A-game JYKo we've been waiting for. IK Kim is still in the top 20 and boy, could she use a great final day. Good luck to the Sisters and especially to In Gee. HWAITING!!!!

KT vaulted up the leaderboard to T19 with a second straight -2, 70...tied for the third best round of the day after only Thitikul (-4) and Jtibs (-3). She's grouped with Inky in the final round...top 10's for both!
