I guess that I was right the first time when I said it was going to be hard to overtake Atthaya as ROY. It's really going to be really hard now.
Anyway a great Tournament by Na Rin An a solo third place. The three putt bogey on seventeen may or may not have caused her a spot in the playoff. It's hard to tell how it would've played out if she had not three putted. Now if she had made the birdie it would have been a totally different story.
Again Jin Young Ko showed why she is the number one LPGA Golfer. Not just the Rolex number one like some likes to call her. She didn't have a lot going through most of the round. But she clutched up and finished tied for fourth place.
Kudos: To Inbee Park and Amy Yang with minus fours to make the top ten.
A pretty good Tournament for Hee Jeong Lim a tie for thirty two. She had her usual four birdies and one bogey. She missed only two greens and had thirty two putts.

Round 4 Ach, this whole week seemed like a missed opportunity in the making. So many Sisters, so many runs up the leaderboard, so many falls back down. I had a feeling Curse Madsen wasn't going to get the job done, but the Sisters let this one get away by not taking advantage. Congrats to Thitikul on her deserved win. Hard to say what was most disappointing, but Hye Jin falling apart was probably it. Not only did she lose out on what looked like a great chance to make some ROY ground up, but she fell so far back that she cost herself a chance at the Chevron, which puts her even more behind the eight ball in the ROY race. I still think she is the top talent in the race, and there's certainly no shame in taking a few events to get used to playing out here, but it already feels like she's run out of time. Oh well, I'll feel differently I suppose when she's holding the US Womens Open trophy this summer... Na Rin really did have a great week. All she needed to do was get that birdie on 17 and the title was hers. Even a par would have given her a chance. But bogey? Yeah, she still had a chance on 18, but 17 was the killer. At least she should be at the Major next week? In Gee did OK, t-12th. Woulda preferred the top ten, but not bad. Nice top tens by Inbee and Amy. It's not fair to expect Jin Young to win every week, especially when she wins every other week already. SOMEBODY else needs to step up. The Koreans currently hold six titles, and EVERY one of them is Jin Young's. She really didn't have it all together this week and still nearly stole it. I think the two drivable par 4s did it to her, even though she did grab an eagle on one of them. Lee6 made a huge comeback Saturday and fell apart Sunday. I feel like she's the one who is ready for her big moment this year, but she needs to iron out these kinks in the next few months to live up to her potential. Sister hwaiting!

Fun stat facts:
In Gee has the second highest money list total among the Sisters this year (she's 12th right now). Jin Young leads in scoring average, GIR (not surprising) and the Risk Reward challenge (!). She should stop playing now to preserve that million dollar prize!

All three Rookies are in the Chevron, Na Rin An, Hye Jin Choi, Yaeeun Hong. They earned their spot because of their standing in CME Globe.
