The Seo win was a classic example of how the commentators ignore the Sisters. Seo won by I think 5 or 6 shots to earn her tour card. But Michelle Wie did some dicey crap when she IIRC tried to avoid getting all muddy and so grounded her club in a water hazard during a shot, which produced a two shot penalty. Of course she whined about it, so Golf Channel spent the final ten minutes or so going over and over this incident, completely ignoring Hee Kyung. In fairness that does sound pretty darn entertaining. It wasn't. They played that clip of her almost falling into the water more times than the Zapruder film.

Round 1 Another fantastic round for Jin Young! Her 13th bogey-free round in her last 11 starts, it was not quite perfect: she missed one green. A 7 under par 65 was her 16th straight round in the 60s (and 31st straight under par). She seems ready to rumble! Hye-Jin shot her own 5 under 67 to put herself tied for third. Six was nearly there, but made a couple of big mistakes late, then made a birdie on the last to salvage a 70. In Gee also with a strong start (69). Great news: Inky with a 69 to start her hometown event! I sure hope we get to see her this week; I can't even remember the last time she made a broadcast. Sisters hwaiting!

Did Ko break the consecutive rounds under par streak? Yes, during the final round in Singapore. It's ongoing: as of today, 16 rounds in a row in the 60s and 31 rounds in a row under par.

I wonder what Bamberger meant when he said these things happen in womens golf? How many wins will she have at year’s end? Bamberger: How many tournaments will she play? She looks like she’ll literally contend every time she plays. It’s happened before in women’s golf. It’s impossible to sustain, but it’s fun while it lasts.

She’s 26. This isn’t a teen phenom or a lucky streak. This is the best anybody's ever hit the ball.

I was there that weekend, and believe me it was a gong show with the circus following Meesh to and from the Golf Channel production truck while poor Hee Kyung was left twisting in the wind. Seriously, people, would it have hurt anyone to grant more than a perfunctory interview to the ACTUAL WINNER of the d**m tournament?Kevin

Jin Young Ko keep rolling along with great scoring. In Kyung Kim came out of the Witness Protection Program with a good round.
Hee Jeong Lim didn't have good start, but not a really bad start either. She made birdie on the first hole but made two bogeys and pars to there after. She only missed four greens, but had thirty three putts.
OK start for Yaeeun Hong minus one.
A Lim Kim has work to do at plus three. She is probably ok because she can make birdies.

Hee Jeong Lim had only two birdies with a clean Score Card. She is not far from top ten, however she needs to make a lot of birdies. She usually don't make more than four birdies in a round, just not a lot of bogeys.
As usual A Lim Kim made six birdies but three bogeys, to make the cut on the number. That's how A Lim plays, aggressively, hope she don't change just make less bogeys. If she does she can be a force on the LPGA, because it's more suited to her style of play.
Jeongeun Lee6 needs to figure out a way to stop getting nervous and finish rounds better. There is no way as talented as she is that she barely made the cut.
Yaeeun Hong had a mixed bag four birdies but five bogeys to make the cut. Not bad for the young golfer.
Ok got to see how Jin Young streak ended.

Has there ever been someone who looked as good golfing as Lydia Ko does now?
