I just met a guy Mike, at Stillwater in Dana Point while watching Thursday Night Football. His wife died of Lou Gehrig's a couple of weeks ago. He seemed inconsolable. I told him to watch Lucky6 at CME because she's super hot. He said he would watch this weekend. This one is jinx free.

Round 1 Six was really playing great on the back nine! It was fun to watch. Nice opening salvo from So Yeon and SYK as well. I sure hope they make it more challenging tomorrow. Even Grant was sorta apologizing for it on the broadcast. Usually when Jin Young has a so so round, she plays well enough that she conceivably should have been three-four shots better. Today, however, she managed a 69 when she really wasn't even playing well enough to get that. She really had some bad shots, and looked genuinely annoyed at times. She had better get over that in a hurry, because she can't afford another less than stellar round if she wants to be a factor Sunday. In Gee tied Jin Young at 69; I hope she makes the broadcast at least once this week. Sisters hwaiting!!

JYK sounded out of gas after her early round interviews last week. A pretty remarkable defense of her CME crown when you consider what she had to do to track down Nelly.

JYK sounded out of gas after her early round interviews last week. A pretty remarkable defense of her CME crown when you consider what she had to do to track down Nelly. Yeah, it feels like she doesn't really have enough left to challenge, but I'll remain positive for the moment. It would be a bit of a drag after all Jin Young did to get here for the POY race to end up being a stroll over the finish line for Korda. But that wouldn't take away from the amazing run Jin Young has had up to now. Sisters hwaiting!

Good round by Jin Young Ko, she got closer to the top.
Jeongeun Lee6 minus one and Sei Young Kim plus one fell back.
Jeongeun Lee6 hit some putts early that looked liked they were going in but didn't. After that she missed some putts, by playing break on straight putts.
Eun-Hee Ji minus nine is in the mix near the top.
A Lim Kim minus five had a good round. So Yeon Ryu an early double and two bogeys, but did get back to even par for the day.

Round 2 Jin Young has her back against the wall for sure. She's apparently had a flare-up of her wrist problem again, so much so that she barely practiced after round 1. Still, she's a hell of a fighter, and put together a 67 to move onto the leaderboard. Even with that, however, Boutier shot a 65 to move to a 4 stroke lead. Ko can't control that; she just needs to focus on putting up good scores. She needs another one Saturday. Go Ko Go! Six seemed really shaky at times on day 2, but it was great to see a lot of her for a change! She'd just a shot out of second. Moving days haven't been great for the Sisters at times this year, but she's well placed to make a run. I feel like 2022 can be her breakout season, but why not start early? Ji is also doing well, but she has a tendency to play worse on the weekends. Meanwhile, A Lim, In Gee, So Yeon and Sei Young are all parked at 6 under and are still not out of it. Let's put together a great run for the big money. Hwaiting!

If wouldn’t surprise me if Nelly can’t win mathematically and they’re too afraid to tell us.

Round 3 Wow, what a star Jin Young is! She needed to dig deep and boy did she deliver! Her wrist hurts so much that she didn't even take a single full practice swing before her round Saturday. How did she respond? Well, she made par on the first hole. She then proceeded to rip off seven straight birdies (!). Although she did not make another birdie after that, she still hit every green, and wrapped up a 66 to take a tie for the lead with Nelly and two others. The most important thing is that she has a great chance; she doesn't have to make up some huge deficit or shoot some miracle round. She is right there with everything on the line, and she can definitely win this thing. Fight through the pain for one more day, Jin Young, keep on hwaiting!!! GO KO GO! Six is not out of this, either. She had a mediocre day, but is just three back. If she can channel her first-day form she could notch the second biggest win of her career. Sei Young, In Gee, and A Lim are all at 8 under, 6 back. It would be kind of incredible to see one of them claim the prize, but not impossible. But top tens would also be nice. Sisters HWAITING!

Great start by Jin Young Ko, unfortunately she didn't improve on it. But still she was hoping to be in this position on better.
So Yeon made four birdies, but also a double and two other bogeys. She started today with two birdies and two bogeys. So she is making birdies, just need to stop making so many bogeys.

I just started to watch the CME live stream. On hole number ten, Nelly Korda had about an eight feet putt. Nasa had a four feet putt and Jin Young a three feet putt. Nelly and Nasa took one look and made their putt. Jin Young and her Caddy took a lot of time reading her putt. Which wasn't necessary and she missed it. I can't watch any more. Edit: I couldn't stand not watching, so i started to watch again.

Yea Yea Yea Congratulation to Jin Young Ko for a great round of golf to win back to back CME Globe Championship. Especially with Nasa Hataoka having a great round and putting pressure on her until the last hole. I started to stop watching after she missed the short putt on number ten. Then I remembered it was the best Golfer on the LPGA Tour and changed my mind. Good thing I did because she made a birdie on the next hole and the rest is History.
