The Big Question: Which player thinks they need an artificial injection of prestige by hiring Lampshade Herden this week? He did NOT cover himself in glory two weeks ago at Hite/Jinro when Sung Hung finished T-40, fourteen strokes behind the minor league winner.
Korda Two dropped the ball in Long Island this past week. If The New Ko wins here, will she re-take the Rolex #1 position?
I haven't seen an abusive, in-your-face Hulk Dance in quite a while ... did she do that at the 2019 BMW? If Ee Da Yeon, Hong Kong, or ex-Cyborg wins, she should sign up with Salmon and jump on a plane to the U.S. later that night.

Is HaNa playing? She might just show the world who the real #1 is.

Ha Na won two years ago and, despite saying she was considering returning to the LPGA, declined to take the card. She had to drop out of a KLPGA event recently due to some sort of leg injury, and she didn't play last week, so I'm not sure if she is healthy right now. Hope so!

My field rating for this tournament is a very mediocre 46.5% (Down from 68.5% when last played in 2019). The obvious reason for the big drop is that there is only one tournament in this "Asian swing." Three others were cancelled, and most players from North America weren't flying out for just one. Because of the many players playing from the KLPGA Tour, this is the first tournament this year where the Rolex Ranking field rating is higher than the LPGA Priority Field rating. My breakdown is 45% LPGA Priority List and 48% Rolex Rankings.
Don't let the low rating fool you though. In spite of the fact that this is not a full field event and that it includes just a handfull of Americans, There are some real big stars here. They include LPGA players: Jin Young Ko Sei Young Kim Jeongeun Lee6 Minjee Lee Danielle Kang Hyo Joo Kim Ariya Jutanugarn Hannah Green Carlota Ciganda So Young Ryu Eun Hee Ji Inbee Park In Gee Chun Lydia Ko
There are also many top players from the KLPGA
I am not going to list the players not teeing it up as the list is quite long.
Perrine Delocour, Chella Choi, Esther Henseleit, and Jasmine Suwannapura, are no longer part of my field rating as they have dropped out of the Rolex top 100. They have been replaced by: Elizabeth Szokel, Alison Lee, Jung Min Lee, and Jung Min Hong

Jin Young meets with the press. Apparently the Sisters have managed 199 wins on the LPGA tour, so they could potentially get the 200th win here in Korea. This has been a big question asked in all the press conferences.

I like HNJ's chances this week. Per social media, she appears happy and rested.
