Butch Harmon does not try to retool your swing. He just make subtle tweaks. Watching Suzann swing you can see no difference.
Yup...after 14 years on tour, Gulbis still dips. If The Dragon Lady knew anything about golf, she'd know long before moving to Orlando about Lead Poisoning....BJ is a good con man.

Of the 36 hole leaders...I'm rooting for a SYK win...she's a badass.
Friday's coverage really shows how sloppy and loose Charley Hull can be. I think she needs to spend more time thinking about her shots.....her putting is streaky. Although I do appreciate she plays blades...she should switch to the AP2's for more forgiveness....hey they're good enough for Spieth.
I've always said...I think Ariya and Hull would be better golfers if they attended a top notch US gold academy in their youth...but they aren't cheap.

I hope NBC doesn't cut out. The final group tees off at 150pm yet it only scheduled till 6pm for coverage. Huh...the gals playing a rd in under 5 hrs? ....lol....although 2somes should help.

I'm disappointed SYK didn't birdie and tie Inbee for the lead. It would be shocking if Inbee or SYK didn't win tomorrow.
I'm rooting or a SYK win...but wouldn't mind a Bumble Bee win and set up for an opportunity for 4 in a row at Sahalee next year. Inbee has changed to an old school 2 ball putter....makes me think I shouldn't sell off my 2 ball that I found for $10 at a garage sale...but my 1970 Ping Anser always makes it back into the bag....nostalgic reasons too...it use to be my Dad's putter.
They should not have five par 5's with many being too short and even reachable with mid irons....it's a major.....make the set up tough.
Lexi can't putt.....let hand low isn't helping neither.
OK...there are 10+ million people with a 90-2 hr drive...yet where are the fans....where are the Korean fanboys/girl too....there are over 220,000 Koreans in metro NYC.

Some thoughts on round 3: - WOW, Inbee was absolutely brilliant today. She has put herself in a fantastic position to win this thing. I'm rooting like crazy for her. - There may not have been huge galleries, but it sure sounded like Inbee had a very vocal rooting section following her. Cool to see/hear! - Sei Young Kim muffed the final hole and the drivable par four, but otherwise she was dynamite today. Should be a great battle with Inbee tomorrow. I don't think Inbee will forget what happened in Hawaii. - Awesome day for the KLPGA rookies: Sei Young 2nd, Hyo Joo 7th, Q Baek 18th and Ha Na Jang 29th. - I smiled ear to ear when they announced that Sahalee would host this event next year! - So Yeon couldn't get it going today, but 2 under is not bad, either. A top ten is still a very real possibility. Go for it! Sisters Hwaiting!!!! Go Go Go!!!

mr3putt: As Gary Koch would say, "Better than most!" I let her know I'd be there for one day, most like Friday (Thursday was 2nd choice). I didn't know I would be picking up two sets of daily ground passes for Tuesday thru Sunday. Had I known, I could have planned this better. I know someone else who might have been interested in attending. Also, I was considering going up there a day earlier to play golf at Rockland Lake State Park, stay overnight at a motel, then go to the KPMG on Friday AM. But, Thursday's afternoon weather report was iffy and I wasn't thrilled with paying $73 for a room (this area is MUCH different from the Rte. 30 outskirts of Atlantic City). But, $73 would have been less painful knowing I had freebies for Thursday and Friday. Japan's Golf Digest website has a knack for posting unusual photos from the events they cover. Examples from Round Three: The Hulk with a sushi roll daddy gave her at #11 Laura Davies tee ball Morgan Pressel...the open door (back right) lead to the scorecard signing room

espn.go.com/video/clip?id=13073200I told you SYK is a badass...if she wins today and the USWO...she'll do a spin kick for ESPN W. SYK said sge was nervous playing with Webb...she'll be more comfortable with Bumble Bee...so watch out....but Queen Bee won't get fazed over any charges by SYK. On WRX a guy went to Wednesday's practice rd...they had a shuttle from the train station to the course and he was the only one on the shuttle and when he went home only he and another guy on the shuttle. espn.go.com/espnw/news-commentary/article/13068729/inbee-park-stellar-game-deserves-more-glanceOn Friday only 200 people watched Inbee, Lexi and Tutta. OK...if Merica isn't going to support the majors....I proclaim that all majors be played in Canada or the Pac Rim.

Phil WTF...MHL came through and it seems like you are only attending one rd....I hope you gave away the rest of the tickets....if not....and those tickets go unused....The Golf Gods will punish you and don't be surprised you shoot 95 next rd.
How far do you live away from the course?...is the traffic that bad that you can't drive daily....how about the train?
BTW....I decided to test out a Callaway Supersoft....I thought it would play like a marshmellow and I would lose distance. I don't know if it's coincidence.....but I have found 10 yards with this ball.......so effective;y 2 less clubs on a par 4.....2 shots. I will admit it doesn't spin as much...then again...it's not urethane. Luckily I have found 15 SS's. I'm not saying it will be my gamer...but I was pleasantly surprised....it feels good off the putter face too.
I have a few Chrome Soft's...IMO...only meh...but maybe I need to test it out more. I'm pretty lucky...I find so many balls....I still have at least 12+ urethane premium ball brands to test.
What ball(s) are you gaming?
Have you bought that JetSpeed yet?.....lol.

I'm not a great golfer...95 would not kill me! Again, if I had known I was getting two sets of tickets far enough in advance, I would have gone Thursday and Friday. At a GSP rest stop Friday night, I texted a friend and asked if he could use ground tix for Sat. and Sun.; if yes, I'd drop them off at his house on the way home, but he couldn't use them either. Google maps puts my drive to the shuttle lot in White Plains at 78 miles, so it's not around the corner.
I strongly considered the train, but decided against it. Aside from the expense, there would be multiple transfers...if there was an unexpected kink in that chain, I'd be screwed. I didn't mind taking the train to Sebonack in 2013 because the logistics were simpler, the distance was much longer, and the USGA paid for the LIRR tickets.
I haven't played much this year and I don't have a favorite ball. I've scavenged a ton of good balls from the roadside off a golf course near my parents house; the bulk of them are Pro-V1/Pro-V1x (hooray for side spin). In Tuckerton, I had time to test an E6 and a Pro-V on tee shots with my Cleveland Halo 2-hybrid on a couple of holes. The advertising is right...the E6 was straighter and slightly longer, but Pro-V felt really good.
I'll be in a scramble later this month...it's the best kind, free of charge. The setting will be Forsgate CC, which hosted the LPGA's Coca-Cola Classic in the late '70s. I've never been there before, so it should be interesting. Peter Oosterhuis was the director of golf there around the late 80s - early 90s. I need to get in at least one or two rounds as prep somewhere, so I can bail out my team's long hitters who sometimes find the trees. There are random prizes given out afterward, so I don't want to buy a driver just yet!

First congratulation to Inbee for her win.
Next I don't understand why you would call Brooke Henderson the future of the tour. I believe she has only two top tens. What's so great about that. On the other hand, Sei Young has two wins, and just had a second place finish in a Major. Why don't you think that she can be future.
That sound a lot like the Bevin .

No one will kick Se Ri off her throne as far as her impact to S. Korean golf. Yes, Inbee has a greater major record and could be the greatest s. Korean golfer in the next one or two decades....the only things that stay in Inbee's way is her desire and her plans about starting a family. Inkster is in her own league as far as golf performance and longevity while raising a family.

Anthony can speak for himself...but I don't interpret he thinks Brooke is the future of golf...I think he was merely discussing some parallels of Spieth & Henderson.

Congrats to Inbee, the greatest Korean golfer who never had to play against Annika

There's a lot of luving for the E6....I've just never seen it...I'm not a Bridgestone fanboy...the B330 RXS s/b a great ball for me....IMO....meh....a ball also for me that lack's distance too. Have fun at Forsgate....your strategy should be to hit 1st....if you're in play...the big dogs can bomb away...otherwise they'll need to put one in play. Dependent on the field....I've been in scrambles with a winning score from -5 to -17.
