One of the worst events of the year for the Sisters. Couldn't bring myself to tune in. It was pretty much everything I don't like to see in a result, from the top on down. But I'll focus on the positive. Somehow Lucky Six reminded herself that she was great and produced a 67 to finish T-33rd. Yes, her worst result of the year, but she managed to make it respectable. In Gee could not follow up her 66, alas. So Yeon got the only top ten for the Sisters, a 9th. Jin Young shot a 70 and only managed a t-23. Inbee just missed a top ten thanks to a bogey on the last par 5. Well, here's hoping it's motivation, because next week is the big one. There are usually a few of these duds every year, but here's hoping the trend stops at one. Sisters hwaiting!! I wonder how Inbee managed to make bogie on short par five eighteen. It was the easiest hole on the course. Not knocking the fact that she made bogey, just curious.

To answer Kevin's question on whether or not Haru Nomura's ace counts because she was a WD after Round One...YES!
She completed the round and it counts. Her stats says she has played 31 rounds this season and I count 31 rounds among her tournaments.

I forgot to mention this in one of my ShopRite practice reports - Ping has a new hot putter than everyone wants to check out. Laura Gonzalez Escallon went to the Ping rep at the practice green and asked for a demo "to see if it plays as good as it looks." She was out of luck...the guy said he had three but they were gone...I assume he handed them out to other Ping staffers or sold them to desperate amateurs. Maybe she got in line first in Michigan for that magic wand because she had a T-23 after ten straight trunk slams.
