I didn't notice it before, but Mi Jeong Jeon is in this one...grouped with Lydia Hall and Victoria Morgan.
Per IG, Kayla Lawrence and Anna Young have met before, so it might have been package deal to bring both here.

Twenty-four players are par or better (four under par); eighteen are over par.

One of the three Japanese players here is Mina Nakayama...finished T-43 last week, seems to be a regular on the TLPGA. Played with The Legend in Taiwan in 2012.

JLPGA > KLPGA
...or is it a home court advantage? Google mush excerpt from the article below:
Cai Peiying, born in Pingtung, is no stranger to Xinyi Stadium. She grew up at the Dagangshan Golf Course in Kaohsiung and practiced at the Xinyi Stadium. It also made her more familiar. Today many players feel the green of this course. Very difficult, she felt that she had the feeling of home court advantage. "Going back to play at home, there is a sense of peace of mind in my heart. It is very home-based. The green judgment here is very important. Maybe it makes me take up some. Advantage."
I saw her with her mom (?) at Bedminster in 2017.

Wei-Ling Hsu opened with a 72...the same translated article above implies that she is trying to adjust to new equipment.

Yealimi needs to go under par; she can do it.

Yani of old showed up. Birdies, bogeys and good par saves. She really needs to do something about her poor driving accuracy. Her swing is way to quick. When her timing is off a little she drive's the ball all over the course. There were good golf played by the top players.
