OK.....let's start with the good news.....pouty face Lewis didn't win.
Hmmmmmm....is The Korean Reign of Terror at an end. Ugh....SYK spit the bit coming in....I realize it's difficult to win...but that was really nervous and sloppy putting coming home including a 4 putt on #14....WTF....I thought I was watching Lexi putt. Of 18 Koreans....only one broke 70....HJK's 69....yet 9 of 24 Yanks broke 70.
Even Lewis ended up putting poorly coming home.
When I heard Karen Stupples predict that Bam Bam would win yesterday....I thought she was delusional because Bam can get in her own way when things don't go well and she was playing with Ariya who can get moody too.
Congrats to Bam...great eagle on 18.
I went out for Easter dinner...came home and watched my recording...but my recording ended at 4 hrs...even though I programmed it for another 1/2 extension and had to read the play-off results on lpga.com.
If SYK could have made the play-off....I think she might have won.....likely making a birdie in 3 tries or less (would have, could have, should have, etc., etc)....Bam winning with a par with passive play......never went for the green in two on three attempts with a grandstand for a relief drop beyond the green.....another WTF.
I'm surprised sore loser Lewis hasn't commented that Bam only won because she got an unlucky break with her lay-up ending up in a divot.....lol.

Round 4 This seems most years to be the anti-Korean Major...... Exactly....anti Korean....and everyone thinks I'm delusional when this so-called major should move to LA or at least Japan. It was poor SYK all by herself against all the Yanks cause the other Sista's werenot backing her up for an outcome of a Sista jumping into Poppie's pond. At least there are 80,000 potential Koreans in LA....so SYK and the other Sista's don't need look at 200 geriatric flag waving white folks when they are trying to win this event.

I like Brittany as a person, but I have a hard time getting behind her as a player. She is such a slacker, and her putting is less than stellar shall we say. If she were ten yards shorter off the tee, she wouldn't sniff a trophy. And not surprisingly, she makes the playoff thanks to an eagle: her length again coming into play. I give credit to Lewis that at least she's a driven hard worker with a ton of talent. But if it's a choice between sourpuss Lewis winning and Lincicome, I'll take Brittany any day of the week! The playoff was really dull. I kept thinking that Lincicome would only win if Lewis made bogey, and sure enough... Not a shining moment for the LPGA, IMO. Pet peeve: One thing that drives me crazy is when they keep showing some parent watching their kid. Yeah, we know, Americans lover their kids and apparently Asians don't, because they rarely show a Korean's mom or dad in the audience (and they are there, as we know, NYC excepted). Other than Inbee's dad at Sebonack, I can't recall them focusing on relatives for Korean players.

Most people who excel in their profession typically work 70+ hrs a week. Bam plays about 26 events, doesn't practice much.....so on average....I'd say she works about on average 30 hrs tops per week. I'm too lazy to look up her stats....but with earnings and sponsorships....I'd say she averages $400,000 - $700,000 per annum over her career. Can anyone on this site say they make $100,000+ for 30 hrs of weekly work? Yes, the playoff was lame.....3 holes and the winner wins with a par on a par 5....WTF.

So I assume you think that Wie and Ko are not REAL Koreans...BJ and Bo are the most exposed/media covered parents on the LPGA followed by The Dragon Lady. In all fairness....I never knew what Paul Creamer looked like until they showed him on TV at the 2010 USWO...when The Pink Diva won....and I had also been to my fair share of LPGA events prior to 2010. I'm sure the majority of the staff at GC are Caucasian....so we all know white people think Asians all look the same....so in fear of showing the wrong Asian parent...they'd rather show none. HappyFan....try walking in my shoes.....you can not believe how many times total strangers at the airport or store walk up to me and say: "Hey, longer time no see" "Hi where have you been...you haven't been to the store in ages" If they don't put much focus on Korean parents...why do we hear about Chella's dad's story 15 times every round she's in contention...ugh.

Another one who thinks this event should move away from Palm Springs....lol. I'm sure he still reads this forum.....but SayyouSeri would have had a field day last week defending his position on the most POPULAR major that no one wants to attend....lol....too bad FanofSeri offended him to quit....lol. www.golfchannel.com/news/golf-central-blog/kang-recounts-verbal-assault-men-restaurant/?cid=golfchannel_majorshomepage_masters_tournament_latestnews_position_10_link_1"Kang said one of the men accused her party of insulting his heritage. She didn’t understand what he was referring to. He said one of the men then came over to her table." So what were the heritage of these men? So did Danielle, her mom and friend make a derogatory comment about a particular race....not knowing that someone was listening in...therefore it sparked these two idiot's outrage. I think this story won't catch any further steam....but it would be interesting hearing more from witnesses and a further police report. Could this become a mini Robert Allenby (Hawaii) story. Pretty sad when other restaurant patrons just sat and watched without intervening.

Centurion. Do you realize since you started using M J Hur Avatar, that she has played poorly. Just a little tidbit.
Congratulation to Britney on her win. Sei Young had a good tournament, despite a caddy that was not a lot of mental help for her. When things started to go bad.
So Yeon finally gave in to the disappointment of not getting much out of her great play, the first three rounds. I can never recall her hitting only eight greens.

Pretty sad when other restaurant patrons just sat and watched without intervening. To my mind, what is amazing is that no one took a cell phone photo of these fools, or at least followed them into the parking lot to see what car they got into. Let the cops kick their butts, that's what they're paid to do!

So if these two clowns were yelling and threatening to kill your daughter, wife or two other women at another table....you'd do nothing except take a video? Seems like the other customers and restaurant staff did nothing to intervene neither. Sometime we need to self police when we see dbags like this. But this is Kang's side of the story....seems like these guys were angered about something related to "heritage".......what set these two idiots to go into a rage. We likely won't hear more about this because of The Masters.

I have been to most tournaments in Los Angeles since the mid-1980's and there were few Korean fans--even when it was at Wilshire County Country Club within walking distance of K-Town. I think they are too busy working their asses off to bother with a golf tournament. LA never embraced women's golf and never will. Nobody cares anymore about the history of Dinah Shore and the evolution into a major where Judy Rankin gushes non stop. The tournament needs to move to Asia, perhaps alternating between a few countries. I can guarantee that will never happen because it the one tournament that white people are still competitive.

Sei Young had a good tournament, despite a caddy that was not a lot of mental help for her. When things started to go bad. I agree. Despite all his experience......the loop and SYK never seemed to really gel....I suspect it was due to the language barrier. If Paul had worked for some premier PGA pros.....why is he working the minor leagues now?

I think they are too busy working their asses off to bother with a golf tournament. So if the Korean don't watch golf......do they play a lot of golf in LA? Here in Vancouver....at some courses....you'd literally think you were playing in S. Korea. Chinese like golf here but not to the magnitude of the Koreans. There are approx. 50,000 Korean here and 400,000 Chinese.....it would be a gong show on the courses if those populations were reversed. Just watch until the CP CWO later this year....30-40% of the gallery will be Asian. I also see a lot of Korean middle aged women golfers....even in the winter....I think the culture is the guys work their butt off and the wives can do as they please during the day as long as the children and husband are looked after. The golf industry as a whole is soft...it would really tank here if it was absent of Asian golfers...but we do have a high Asian per capita population.

LMAO......no one here really appreciates your wit and humor.....kudos. Phil also has a good sense of sarcasm too.
