Suzann and Se Ri gave her the win at the Kraft. Birdie Kim hit the shot. It went in the hole. Robbed I think not. On another note. Is Carolyn Bevin during the pairings for the third round. I thought the pairings was supposed to be according to how they finished. I have an idea why, they are during it this way. But I will keep it to myself.

I'm curious what you have an issue with re the pairings. Obviously the -10s are paired together, -9s together. Then of the -8s, following the 2nd round when players finish in 2 different waves, I believe they pair by score in the 2nd round: Of the -8s Hernandez & Yokomine had better 2nd round scores so tee off later than HJK & Lang who had higher scores. Same with the -7s: Lewis & Walsch had better scores in round 2, so go later than Ko. Same seems to be true for -6s: Burnet, Pace, Song had best 2nd rounds so have later tee times than other -6s. As for pairings according to how they finish, that would be in effect after the third round when there aren't two different waves of players finishing as after round 2. Then a player who comes from back in the field, posts a good score, gets first crack at latest tee time among those that finish at the same number. Is this how others see it?

Yes, you are correct Cannlinny. For an aggregate total, pairings are made by lowest score of latest finished round goes out last or later tee-time. If, players tie in the latest finished round, then they go to, who had the lower score in the previous round and that player goes out last or later tee-time. If, they shot the same score in all previous rounds, I do not know, how they pair?

I just have two words - SE RI!!! This round reminds me of something Karrie Webb said after Se Ri had that stunning comeback McDonald's win in 2006. Players like Pak and Webb, Hall of Famers...no matter how bad things may look or how "old" and over the hill people think they are...NEVER count them out. They don't have to prove anything. They just have that certain something, and it can surface at any time (until they decide to hang up the clubs). Wow did she look good out there today. I hope this leaderboard continues to pan out. How cool would it be if Se Ri can old off all of these young players, including all these Koreans who idolize her?

Great round by Se Ri. I knew she had it in her. Kudos! to Mirim, Alison and Sakura.
I am not sure who that was imitating Kydia Ko on the back nine. She sure made some uncharacteristic mistakes coming in. Hyo Joo did not seem to be herself either. I guess even the great ones can lose focus.
Stacked leaderboard. Should be great to watch tomorrow.

I was finally able to watch this tournament on TV and who's the first player I see? Se Ri! How do you like that, urinara?
It was great entertainment overall. Lots of players vying for the lead before Mirim Lee took control.
I am really impressed by Alison Lee. She had the best approach to the tough 18th green.

Se Ri is rounding into form. Carlsbad is a good tune up for the Dinah Shore. Im certain Se Ri believes she should have won it by now.

Round 3 One of the more interesting leaderboards in some time I think, even though many of my faves have been unimpressive. I'm a big fan of Mirim Lee, so I'll be rooting for her to go wire to wire tomorrow. But if somehow Mirim doesn't get the job done, how can I not root for Se Ri? How awesome was it for her to shoot that 64?? Sweet! Alas, a weirdly off round by Hyo Joo, who seemed to be preparing to put this trophy in her sites. I still can't watch the tournament, so I have no sense what went wrong. But hopefully she'll rectify that tomorrow. Another completely unexpected name: Jennifer Song. A few years ago, she seemed like the can't miss kid. Then she missed hard. She's in position to get her best ever LPGA finish, and perhaps even win if the stars align. But whatever happens, I hope she gains some confidence from this week! Inbee and Ha Na Jang could still make top tens. Most of the rest of the Sisters really are not having a good week. So Yeon Ryu, Q Baek... In Gee Chun is back in the 30s, where she has been the past two events. This is a good chance for her, and Baek for that matter, to get some experience. As talented as they are, they have played only very rarely outside of Korea in their still young pro careers. Go Mirim, Se Ri and Jennifer. FIGHTING!!!!! Round 3 pix Alison Lee Se Ri Inky - played with In Gee today! Hyo Joo Mi Hyang Lee Chella Choi w/ So Yeon So Yeon Ryu Sei Young Kim

Unforunately, with how easy this course is, Se Ri would need another round like she had yesterday if she wants to win this tournament. That is a lot to ask for. I'm hoping, though, that if she can not win here, that she uses this momentum and lets it fuel her for next week. She should have won last year, and this may be her last best opportunity to walk away with the one event that hat plagued her in her career. She said today that she's getting better every day, and that she wasn't expecting much this week, so perhaps she's starting to peak at the right time. GO SE RI!
Mirim Lee irritates me. The moment I take her for the Pak Picker and start to believe in her, she falls. The moment I give up on her, she shoots up the leaderboard. A little more consistency from Mirim would be nice, but she could REALLY make a statement if she's able to win LPGA event #3 in less than a year.
Unfortunately for Allison Lee, Jennifer Song, and Sakura Yokomine, I am afraid that the pressure of contending on a Sunday might get to them. I don't expect either of them to hold the trophy on Sunday, but if they can hang on, perhaps make a few putts late, and finish with a good result, it will go a long way towards having a good season.

I'm thinking a playoff too.
I'm feeling it for Mirim Lee to win but I'm rooting for Alison Lee. There are 9 Lee's playing next week at the ANA.....likely all Koreans....just wait until women's golf really takes off in China.
So if Alison Lee wins.......can we include her in the Korean Reign of Terror winning streak?
Except for a Ping staff bag....looks like Alison is not all that well sponsored....she needs a new agent. She was showing off her booty in those yoga like pants yesterday.

Hey 3Putt, if you're dubbing Stacy Lewis "Pouty Face", can we give Cristie Kerr the nickname "The Soulless One"?

I'm pissed...of all pros who would stop the Korean Reign of Terror streak...it had to be Crusty....blah.
No wonder The Queen and Jennifer Song didn't play well...they had to listen to all that obnoxious barking for 18 holes.
Hmmmm....I'd say Jason Hamilton is going to get an ear full from The Dragon Lady tomorrow in Palm Springs....Ko was +3 over the last 3 holes over two days....likely lost 6 strokes to the leaders....and cost her the title.
My hope that Mirim would take down Crusty in a playoff never came to fruition.
