Luv it....congrats to In Gee Chun. Did you see her stroke and finish of her swing on 17...I we thought HJK had a gorgeous swing. IGC is a BEAST....WTF...going for that pin on 17 with the lead.....if she hit it in the bunker she would have been short sided.
So would IGC be insulted if fans here said...."Way to go Dumbo...great win!"
So will IGC hired Dean full time?.....otherwise I could see The Dragon Lady stealing him.
So does IGC take LPGA membership F/T now or defer? I bet Dave Henderson is preying she becomes an immediate members so it doesn't steal Brooke's 2016 ROY title.....lol.....maybe he can get the media to put pressure on IGC.
Nice story about IGC in the NY times...thx Happy for sharing.

We need to give Anthony credit where credit is due....his avatar reverse strategy is brilliant. But I need to change mine back to The Rocket...HYP Rules....but will post Lewis back if she contends this week.

I've said it before...it's FANTASTIC to see the HUGE galleries at Lancaster....they are all over the course. OK...I'll stop teasing you Yanks that Merica doesn't care for women's golf....OK...at least until next week when no one shows up at the Marathon. It's a shame that USWO ticket prices are the most expensive on the schedule....it would have been nice to see more family based promo's to increase this important demographic to grow the exposure for women's golf. Things should get back to normal next year in San Jose with miniscule crowds. We don't care about golf here--just stealing each other's water. I agree....back to minimal crowds. Hmmmm.......were the attendance record at Lancaster embellished? They said 135,000+.....from some info I think it was 50,000+ on the weekend and then about 45,000 for Thurs/Fri....so they had 40,000 from Mon-Wed....many LPGA would die for 40,000 all week long. There was an article that 71,000 attended the 2013 Safeway....I'd say 30,000 tops and I'm being generous. Vern...you were there....do you agree with me? I think the best attendance for a women's major in 2016 will be Seattle.

You will know the US is back in golf when Stacy Lewis is no longer considered the best player. She embarrassed herself and our country with her petulant behavior. Sickening. Luv your style my friend.....a candidate for post of the year. Considering Lucy Li didn't qualify this year...I'm surprise Lewis didn't rant on social media or in her press conferences about Muni "Lily" He stealing the thunder from all the male fanboys. Did anyone remember on 13 when Stacy was teeing off...a vol had his hands raised then started to point .......waving his hands at a fan...I'm surprised Stacy didn't stop her address. If it was Kerr....she would have driven the guy's head off. Many of the old vols are completely clueless.....for those who have attended many events you know what I'm taking about....it's as if any common sense has been magically taken away that week. I wonder if Stacy invited Inbee back to her housing on Sunday evening to trash her room....Inbee looked as mad as it gets....you could see Inbee was burning up inside missing all those putts...I'm surprised she didn't helicopter her putter...ala Sergio or Rory.

In one of her interviews, In Gee said it was really cool to hear American fans calling her Dumbo and cheering her using that name. So if any of you see her in a future event, remember that! Some cool stuff In Gee meets up with some familiar faces earlier in the week: In May, In Gee posted this photo of herself in Dumbo PJs. It's gone viral in Korea the past day. In Gee enjoys her sponsor's product on the plane ride home. Drink responsibly! Another pic that's gone viral: In Gee selfie in sunglasses: Congrats again, In Gee!

Now she has to win several more. I suspect she will. Nobody wants to end up like Lunke or Birdie Kim. There is no point in Dumbo playing in the US. It is becoming a secondary tour. Stay in Korea and come here for the majors except ANA Which isn't really even an event anymore. I think Amy Yang will end up like IK Kim. That's would be a shame. I also wonder if Amy will win a major too. A 3 stroke lead is as good as it gets......she had some nervous putts and a couple of snipe hooks on her drives coming home after so many gorgeous high draws. Yes....she was brilliant on 16 & 17 but unfortunately came up short. I hope I am wrong. Are you trying to bait SayyouSeri back to the forum?...saying the ANA isn't an event will get him riled....he still comes to the site every now and then.

Some cool stuff In Gee meets up with some familiar faces earlier in the week: That's great news IGC likes when fans can call her Dumbo. I've previously talked about it on WRX...so members there are aware her nickname too. Happy.....we should get some Dumbo hats. Assuming she doesn't take LPGA membership immediately.....her agent should contact Hunter Harrison and request an additional invite for the CP CWO.....hey he's the CEO so he can do as he pleases and he loves women's golf....the fans here would love to see IGC. I guarantee they could sell 2000+ Dumbo hats...especially with a IGC autograph session near the putting green here in Van City. To be honest they should do a 'meet & greet" at the Coquitlam GolfTown with 6 of the top Korean stars......promote the event on local Korean media and in KoreaTown...handing out brochures of the event and the CP CWO at the entrance of H Mart. Huh....IGC should have stayed to do the NYC TV road show for the USWO champ before heading home. Hey...where's the soju to wash down the Hite?.....I hope IGC doesn't make a scene if the nuts are served in a bag on her business class flight home. I hope IGC. HJK, SYK and the Hulk become the Big Four and are the reps next year at the Int'l Crown and Olympic....Queen Bee and NYC are too boring.

Happy Fan: I was very upset when Hee Kyung Seo lost the open. Because the officials made her hurry to finish her round. I thought that was the reason that she missed a short putt on eighteen. To eventually lose the tournament.
However, as luck will have it. The tournament in Phoenix. I went with Jimin Kang's friend to follow her. So Yeon was paired with her. I was so impressed by So Yeon's game and demeanor, that I became an instant fan.

Happy So do you think many at the airport waiting to board the Korean flight would recognize IGC in the waiting area or boarding the flight as they pass by IGC in the business class section.
I assume there will 50+ reporters and over 500+ fans...especially the Flying Dumbos at the airport in Incheon. They will certainly be selling 50% more tickets when she tees it up at her next KLPGA event.

I'm terrible with estimations but I can say the 2013 version was much more sparsely attended compared with all the earlier times I went.

If those passengers bought a recent Korean newspaper, which will doubtless feature photos of In Gee on the cover, I suspect they will notice her if she is on their flight. Yeah, I'm expecting her to get quite a greeting when she gets back to Korea! Here is a nice post-win interview with ESPN. Notice that she tries a little English in there!

Happy....thx for the vid...someone mentioned it on another site but didn't provide a link.
I like Michael Collins....he always does light hearted interviews....did you notice he was speaking broken English.
When I use to play with a Korean lady (she spoke like HYP) I found myself speaking broken English thinking that she'd be able to understand me with greater ease....I tried to stop, but I never could.
