And you don't think BJ had put huge pressure on Michelle to win a major. I think Michelle had it FAR worse than Lydia, is what I'm saying. Michelle had pressure to win everything all the time. She had pressure to be the greatest women's golfer of all time. Lydia doesn't have that - she has pressure of winning a major. It's still not good, but it's not nearly as bad. |

I'm pretty sure it was the weight of all those logos on her shirt that caused the MC. I think the Golf Gods don't like the NASCAR look. Did you steal this from either Faxon or was Flesch who said yesterday that MHL looked like a NASCAR driver. I think it's great the Korean pros are well supported and sponsored by many companies. But it takes away from their very cute golf clothes  and surely pros like SYR, Inbee, Stacy, Pressel, etc have lots of sponsors but don't have big patches all over. (We've been calling it the NASCAR look for awhile at our house.) |

On the negative side why can't they fix the ambient noise problem?? Most of the time you can't hear the hole announcers or the player/caddie discussions at all. Ya...many on other forums have been complaining about the background noise too. It did seem quite a bit better today as far as the background noise. But I miss Johnny, Roger, Judy and the rest! (When we have a tough putt or chip on the golf course my husband will always say, "That's makeable, Johnny." |

Some Round 3 Thoughts - In Gee Chun keeps hanging in there, making charges when she needs to and keeping the leaders in view. I know she has it in her to win this, so I'm rooting like heck for her to make a charge and get it done. She has already had an amazing year, but this would take it to a whole new level. Go In Gee!!!  - But if In Gee doesn't win, I'll be rooting for Amy to get the job done. I know, you know, everyone knows that Amy has the ability to win a Major. She just needs to convince herself. Go Amy!  - Inbee has been within range herself, and if Amy does not run away with it, it is very much within Inbee's power to win. Go Inbee!  - Too bad that So Yeon and Q both had decent days Saturday, but not good enough. Still, So Yeon could notch a top ten, and even Q Baek could do that with a strong Sunday. Go go go!  - Chella Choi absolutely smoked the course Saturday. A 64? You gotta be kidding me!  - On the down side, just when Sei Young looked like she might have a Cinderella comeback following all the drama, she blows up with a 75. Oh well... There were signs of nervousness in their putting yesterday...more so from Lewis.....Amy did putt more confident as she often putted her ball beyond the hole.
Both will be so nervous trying to win their 1st USWO.
If they falter and In Gee has a brilliant putting today, so could sneak in for the win...I'd like to see a IGC win....but would also like to see Amy get her 1st major.
IMO...Inbee's too far back with too many people to pass....yesterday was the most frustrated I've seen Queen Bee...she was pushing.
Did you see in the highlights at the beginning...it was hard to pick up cause it only lasted a second...Ryu was slamming her club.
Juli's make-up job bode her well...but excessive make-up on Gulbis was brutal...IMO....Gulbis looks best under a cap with her golf attire.

Since she's been on coverage.
With her funny antics on social media....one would think Jane Park would be really approachable and fun natured....I was shocked to see how bland and kinda aloof Jane can be at an event outside the ropes.
Looks like she's changed caddies that she's employed for the last few years.

BML and Sharon would be the ideal duo if I'm limited to two. mr3putt: Yes, she will express her ire on those rare shots that are not up to her normal standard of perfection. On TV Friday, she banged the club head on ground (which I never saw her do before) when her approach shot on #9 leaked right. mr3putt: I really don't know...but you'll find out, I guess. If I have problems with her at next year's Shop-Rite, I'm gonna find a Smiling Buddha doll and stick pins in it. I was thrinking about this bridge today, which is great spot to watch tee shots at #7 over the Conestoga River. I wonder if they did a check beforehand to be sure it was strong enough to hold a mob?     I didn't get a close look at her bag this week, but I assume it's the same since Shop-Rite...all Callyway/Odyssey gear, except for two Adams hybrids (23 & 26). She's still with Ivan Galdame on her bag, which is good.   |

BTW, that interview Dean Herden did about the Fusco affair was nothing but road apples. He's probably buttering up Chun this week...telling her how she'll rule the LPGA next year WITH HIM...probably put out some feelers to Jung Min Lee as Plan B. Either way, HK Seo gets dumped like a sack of beat-up practice hockey pucks.

If Lewis & Amy slow play today..they'll get a warning...but unlikely be put on the clock. O'Toole will likely be the RO for this pairing....it would leave a bad mark on a successful USWO...and as Prez....he won't want that.
Mike Davis is likely with IGC and Oyama.
Oyama is wearing pantyhose....I have to admit I like seeing women in nylons...a common apparel fashion on the KLPGA & JLPGA.....many Asians wear them to guard against the sun.....I think Porna should drop the black leggings.
When I was young...I thought the 'whiteness' of Asian ladies was unattractive...now I think it has bode them well....it has prevented premature aging in old age and makes middle aged Asian women more youthful.

I've said it before...it's FANTASTIC to see the HUGE galleries at Lancaster....they are all over the course.
OK...I'll stop teasing you Yanks that Merica doesn't care for women's golf....OK...at least until next week when no one shows up at the Marathon.
It's a shame that USWO ticket prices are the most expensive on the schedule....it would have been nice to see more family based promo's to increase this important demographic to grow the exposure for women's golf.
I think a weekly badge was over $200 and single day pass is $45....yet there have been many free tix promos on the LPGA tour with minimal attendance.
What a beautiful course with a river running through it that one can paddle down.....and the creek water is very clear.

It's ironic that the gals would not be allowed to play golf in their corporate logo'd apparel outside of the tournament at the private clubs they played.
