www.golfwrx.com/461826/angel-yin-witb-2017/If Juli doesn't pick Angel...she a fool....Angel is a PLAYA not a POSER....and she's only 18. Speeder Evolution X-Stiff in her driver. No hybrids....just a Cally driving iron. Fourteen irons paired with KBS C-Taper 125's in Stiff+....those shafts are so STOUT....she also has this shaft in her driving iron. A Charley vs. Angel singles match would be awesome....2 pros with REAL sticks....no RUBBISH Cally Apex irons for these gals. If you look at the WRX WITB's (the LPGA WITB's are GARBAGE)...it's quite shocking to me .....how so many gals play really soft iron shafts in comparison to the shafts in their drivers/woods. SYR is playing TT GS85 R-Flex in her irons...they must feel like licorice.

While a handful of players play in Des Moines, that will leave downtime or other options for a lot of pros. Nasa Hataoka will play the JLPGA's NEC Karuizawa 72 (Aug. 11-13) and CAT Ladies (Aug. 18-20). Sung Hyun Park is the defending champ for the two KLPGA events during Aug. 7-20, Samdasoo and MBN Bogner. Will she appear for either? Samdasoo is one of Winbee's sponsors...hmm. MHL finished second to Park at the MBN Bogner last year...don't know what her plans are in mid-August. I doubt SS Feng will show up anywhere...she doesn't slum the minor leagues like she used to.

www.golfchannel.com/news/randall-mell/new-faces-same-intensity-tap-solheim-cup“I hate to disappoint anybody, but I'm going to take the players that are playing hot right now,” Inkster said. ***************************************************** I really hope Nelly shoots 82-80 to miss the cut by a long shot and goes trunk slammin and I hope Angel, Mo and Marina Alex all have top 10 finishes so I can see Juli SQUIRM at the Solheim presser on Sunday afternoon as she picks Nelly. GC and Mell are such a sh*tshow.....nice pic from the above article. I hope Mo, Angel, Marina, Austin and Angela ALL tell Juli and Nelly to FO in the Kingsbarn women's locker room. Ole Ole!

Have to disagree with you 3putt. If Nelly plays well in the Ricoh British open. I think she would be a good captain's pick. She has the game to win in match play. A solid swing and don't have to worry about the end result. Just the hole she will be playing at the time. On the other hand Angel Yin is a little wild. Not to mention I would like to see Jessica and her play together. It's not a war just an exhibition.
To be honest, the European team is not very good. So it probably doesn't matter who she pick.

Yup, Angel is wild....but Angel has HEART...especially for an 18 year old...she would be the only Yank to stand up to Tutta or Masson if things got ugly. The Solheim needs DRAMA and CONTROVERSY....otherwise it will be another ghost event compared to REAL golf being play by the men that week. But Angel has black hair and yellow skin...so it's a given that Juli won't pick her...besides...all the soya bean farmers who have been given the week off to watch the Solheim have never seen an Asian and won't know how to conduct themselves....ya ya...but The Asian Giraffe and Kang are FAKE Yanks and will likely dye their hair red. white and blue. Yup the Euros suck...even more reason for these wash-outs to slaughter and embarrass the Yanks. For a forum that caters to yellow skin and black hair....I don't see any members here cheering against the Yanks. Ole Ole. Oh ya....my only regret....we'll unfortunately hear from MANNIKA a lot.....she's a captain and to make things worse....I'm sure GC is sending Stupples...someone please shoot me.

Korea v Rest of the World. Who wins? It'd be way more interesting. If it was a 4 days stroke play competition with aggregate score, then Korea wins by a mile, against any team. For traditional team match play format, then it could be a toss up, because of the volatility of match play. Example: 1, In the Ryder Cup, the European team keeps kicking America's butt, even thought American always has the better team on paper ( in terms of players rankings). 2, In the first International Crown , Korea almost didn't made it to Sunday ( and finished 4th? ) . And in the second one, it was won by the Americans.

I suspect GC will have pretty much their whole crew there, save somebody to do Morning Drive and Golf Central.
Also believe Nelly will get the nod. She has hardly shot an over par round this year. She got run over a week ago at Marathon, but her scores are always steady and she can make birdies.
She is a better player in my view than Jessica ever will be.

That is each country against the rest of the world. Also agree individual stroke play is a different story. The Koreans don't really have any match play experience in normal circumstances. Probably why their IC performance isn't the best, even though they always qualify high due to seasonal stroke play. Isn't the International Crown in South Korea next year? Lots of Korean pressure if so.

Korea v Rest of the World. Who wins? It'd be way more interesting.Disagree. The Koreans are too nice and play hit and giggle. The Solheim is an exhibition and it's all about the DRAMA. If Dumbo was playing in Des Moines....she'd still go to the ropes and hug and high 5 all the Yanks who boo'd her after she made eagle. If The Korean team was full of Ha Na Jang's and Namdalla's then it would be exciting. TERMINATOR doesn't care about anyone but herself...it would be fun watching Namdalla making her opponent putt everything out, early walk off the green and onto the next hole and Seve-like gameswomanship. I have always said we need 3 hot looking short skort, pantyhose and knee high Koreans who are arrogant, self centered b*tches. ELDRICK was great because of his game but also because he's a PR*CK too....NICE GUYS FINISH LAST. I loved all that IN YOUR FACE stuff from the Euros when they trashed the Yanks in 2013 in Colorado.....DRAMA!

To be honest the draw was why the US won the International Crown. The only head to head match between Korea and the USA. Was won by So Yeon against Lexi Thompson. So I really wouldn't use that as an example.
On another note the men are much bigger, taller and weigh much more than the ladies. Has better equipment and sponsors. They make way more money and play better courses. If all things were equal I wonder who will be the bigger draw.
Look at tennis where the ladies are more, or as popular as the men. The one difference is they don't have many Koreans winning a lot, to hate.

1) To be honest the draw was why the US won the International Crown. The only head to head match between Korea and the USA. Was won by So Yeon against Lexi Thompson. The one difference is they don't have many Koreans winning a lot, to hate. 1) Hmmmm....did you plagiarize Happyfan?...sounds like one of his classic "whoa is me...poor Korean" excuses.....just sayin. 2) You don't say....lol 3) So you really believe the women play with inferior equipment vs. the men???....the LPGA pros play men's clubs and have access to OEM custom fittings. There are many gals using the $300-$500 Graphite Design shafts throughout their bag along with other premier after-market shafts too...I'm sure if a LPGA pro requested a tour issue head...an OEM would honor it. 4) Tennis seems to be doing fine...even if the Yanks aren't dominating on both the men and women's tours. Yes, the women tennis pros can make just as much money as the guys in their REAL majors. I'm not a tennis expert....but I think the women play for less prize money on their tour vs. the men...hopefully BKB can confirm this. And yes...Yanks do hate the Korean female LPGA pros...Yank racism....plain and simple.

Nelly needs to play really, really well to get a capt's pick. She's to far down the list. If Gimmie plays well, Jagger won't be able to over look her.
