I use to think a Korea vs. US event would be lame....is this a secret old white women softball convention....at least if the Korea vs. US event was boring .....we could at least gawk at all the short skort, pantyhose, knee high Korean ladies in the galleries. What about Koreans vs. Korean-Hyphenates (eg, Korean-New Zealanders, Korean-Australians, Korean-Americans)? So Yeon, Terminator, In Gee, Inky, Inbee, Amy, Badass, MJ, Hulk, Mirim, Cyborg, Sky (current top 12 RR Koreans ) vs. Lydia, Minjee, Danielle, Wiezy, Su Oh, Gimme, Jen Song, Jane Park, Xtina, Tiff Joh, Kelly Shon, Annie Park (current top 12 RR Korean-Hyphenates) The Soju Cup would alternate between a course in Korea and one in the Los Angeles area.

I have really grown to like Anna Nordqvist and her great play is about the only thing keeping me interested in this event. I am enjoying watching her embarrass Lexi Thompson. This comment didn't age well.

"The combination of Reid, Ewart, Masson and Shadoff combined to go 3-12-1 which really gave Team Europe no chance of winning." *************************************************************** You mean...."Reid, Ewart, Masson and Sagstrom........ You really need to FIRE Cindy as your proof reader. Have fun at The Brooke Henderson Open and make sure you do some tourist stuff in Ottawa...things are cheap with your Yank greenbacks. Don't forget to bring your "Make America Great Again" hat to Canada and show it off at Tim Hortons...heck they might even give you and Cindy free coffee....Canadians LOVE Mr. Orange.

Outside of ss.com...no one understand REAL vs. FAKE...so it would be a lame event....but the Soju Cup is a great name for a Korea vs. Yank event...though 99.8% of Yanks don't no what soju is. Why didn't you attend the Am at Riviera...too busy playing twilight at the muni's and harassing the Korean hotties?

Did everyone see Mannika talking with Georgia and telling her if she makes the LPGA tour next year she'll get a 50% discount on any of her house brand JUICE.

No. I meant Shadoff. She was 1 and 3. Sagstrom was 1 and 2. No, you meant Ciganda. You shouldn't count Ewart as one person and Shadoff as another.

Sounds like they did a bumper TV number for this event.
I'm shocked by the number of fans in golf media interested in a US vs Asia team event.
First of all UL/ LPGA needs to be running Crown ads during Solheim. But more importantly they need need to cut the shit and go straight US vs SKor. Just a 2 event primer home/home. First one in Korea.

The season ends mid-November, and the following season starts in late January. I guess they could have it in early December, but they'd be limited in the locals. 'Not a lot of warm weather golf in South Korea in December.

'Not a lot of warm weather golf in South Korea in December. UL needs to consider a presidents cup format instead of the 8 team thing. I know "countries" are better than "teams" but having a two team event w/ a familiar format and ALL the best players in the world is better than an 8 team format that might exclude a Lydia or a Brooke. That is just a really tough call I guess. Let's star with a partner event. Can't believe the men's tour best the women to that.
