How many volunteers does it take to run a final round of a tournament? It's not like a Monday playoff where you have 2 players out on the course. You need a full complement of crews to handle the 24 threesomes out on the course.

So were you a REAL golf fan and attend the BMW Championship on the weekend. I still can't believe you get to fanboy Dumbo and The LOVELY HYP (assuming she's successful at Q-school) again next year at Kemper Lakes. |

ANA tainted in that whether or not anyone thinks Lexi got a bad deal, that tournament is remembered for Lexi's 4 whack, not for So Yeon being there to win. If Sung Hyun (or Kirk) had won, their +6, +5, first first round, arbitrarily thrown out, would have been part of the story. And this one is "tainted" enough with only 54 holes and a playoff during a deluge and hail storm. 😬 IMO it's a matter of semantics. I would use the word 'controversial' for the ANA. 'Tainted' implies that So Yeon's win was not legit, and that Thompson got a raw deal/'screwed'. 'Controversial' means that the penalty overwhelmed the result in the public mind, and that people question how fair it was to Lexi to have to deal with that, but one is not questioning that Ryu got the win fair and square according to the rules. Now, it's possible you do believe that the actual result is wrong and that Thompson should have been the winner. Obviously I personally go with 'controversial' over 'tainted'.  On Morning Drive...they were still talking about the ANA and two (I think DiMarco and Rymer) believe the most memorable women's FAKE major was the ANA and the WRONGDOING that Cheatin Lexi received and how SYR got LUCKY and STOLE the trophy from the DESERVING winner.....the GREAT MERICAN and BLONDE hair, LEXI. |

I think Sung Hyun +6 would only be a story because it's red meet for ppl that what to be upset. In reality it's nothing more than an interesting anomaly. Don't you think? when they threw those scores out, no doubt about it. But it isn't the first time the LPGA has thrown out a day's scores because of weather (though they don't often (ever?) do that in a "Major"). What rubs me the wrong way is that they reduced the tournament to 54 holes. I wonder if the sponsor insisted that the final holes be played on network TV in the small window they had purchased at that precise time, and the LPGA had no flexibility to end the event later than that. Actually it was Whan that got a HUGE break...he's lucky Lydia was paired with Namdalla.....Ko's slow play gamesmanship got the better of the TERMINATOR...the weather really didn't get nasty until their group finished...so I'm not buying that TERNIMATOR gagged on the back 9 due to weather. Whan would have a lot of SPLAINING to do if Namdalla was holding up the trophy...the BMW Championship would have taken a back seat to the Evian FAKE major on Golf Central and Chamblee would have had an aneurysm. Whan stopped by in Paris on the way home and picked up a Louis Vuitton handbag and some Chanel shoes for Tina and as a THANK YOU. |

You need a full complement of crews to handle the 24 threesomes out on the course. 10...and 5 of the 10 volunteers will work the door of the women's locker room from preventing the two Evian HORNDOGS from entering.  Let's face it...no one attends LPGA events...so they don't really need marshals...they can be self policed. Standard bearers and walking scores are just for show....it's the players scorecards that are the OFFICIAL scores. I don't have to tell you...you've attended your fair share of events.....80% of the volunteer are retired, CLUELESS and USELESS who know jacksh*t about golf....so many can return to volunteer on Monday. |

As soon as she made the winning putt, GC ended the broadcast immediately. Does anyone know if they had a parachutist flying down with the Swedish flag? I can't find any pictures of him. I'm guessing the horndogs just handed Anna the flag...considering the terrible weather, that would be a safer option than seeing a guy bounce off the fairway at warp speed. Actually, Terry and Judy yapped for another few minutes on the international broadcast but Mike Ritz cut it off for the Americans because Golf Central Pregame was more important. Since that was Whan's entire rationale for cutting the tournament to 54 holes, it didn't need to be cut after all. In the video...did you notice that no one really gathered around Anna after the win......there's a reason why her nickname is COLD FISH. And no I can't take credit for the nickname...it was created by a fanboy I know from Rusty's Playhouse. |

Kang's is being her usual Asian teaser self wearing a too short jump suit. All I can say about Namdalla is WTF...but it's her CLASSIC snub to the ESTABLISHMENT. MANNIKA had no clue how to dress outside the ropes. Nicole Castrale was a LEADER in fashion at the gala events.  |

I was out playing golf this weekend, my 78th and 79th round for the year. Shot a very nice 69 on Saturday with 5 birdies. I attended the BMW four years ago, and I didn't find it particularly fan friendly if you like to walk with the players. The routing of the front nine forms a loop, and the marshals rope off the cart paths until the players get off the teeboxes. After that it's a mad dash to keep up with them. I'll stick to the LPGA events. Yeah, I plan to be at Kemper next year. 'Probably a full day on Friday. I hope The Rocket is there. I picked her up a nice souvenir.  |

Yup....double breast suits are my fav...but difficult to find nowadays. Hmmmmm....seems like 69 is your favorite #. ...so did you play the ball down or did you employ the LPGA's new golf rules....lift, clean and CHEAT? I'm at 47 rds....and played 80 rds last yr...but I always feel guilty if I play too much golf...I don't know why. My wife actually asks me why I don't go out and play more often....I feel sorry for the guys who are hen pecked by their wives...that's why a Korean wife is IDEAL...they are ALL addicted to golf If I accepted invites from 2 of my golf addict friends....I'd easily add another 80+ rds/yr. That's a fantastic gift for THE HAWTEST WOMAN ON THE PLANET...she'll love it.....she better figure out her game to be playing next year...otherwise you'll need to hand it to her on the KLPGA next year and you better buy the Mini Rocket a gift too. Oh ya...when you give HYP the ball mark repair tool you better make sure there are no guys in dark suits around...otherwise they make you cry harder than SayYouSeRi when he got hauled in by the LPGA security rent-a-cops. I assume you will up your game when you give Dumbo a gift next year? |
