Like ANA Inspiration; LOTTE is one of a few tournaments that offer prize fund of $2.00 million or more.

It's a surprise that Brooke Henderson (#21) out ranks Lydia Ko (#23) in 2017 official money list. It's a testimony to how poorly Lydia has performed this year.
Lydia can thank Ariya, In Gee and Shanshan for keeping her No. 1 Rolex ranking; those 3 players cooperate and haven't won either.
So Yeon can take over No. 1 or close to it with a win at LOTTE.

In Gee and Sung Hyun are No. 12 and 14 respectively on the money list; they're No. 6 and 7 among the Koreans, behind the 5 winners.
Those are inauspicious starts; to say the least. They shouldn't look at each other, they should look up to the leaders.

I've been curious for years why they don't schedule this event before the Kia, and move the Founders to this week after the ANA. The women travel enough as it is without having to backtrack to Hawaii.

I was a little concerned when So Yeon made the changes last year. She were always a great ball striker. But after following her numerous times since then. Not only has her ball striking gotten better, she has added distance as well. Her accuracy is a little worse, but that comes with hitting it longer.

Field looks good! So Yeon will be there, all the Parks will be there, the Lees, Jutanugarns and Miyazatos will be there. No NYC or Sei Young Kim though--didn't she win this a couple years ago?
Sixteen solid hours of primetime coverage. Whoa!

So are you going to be spending more time in Balabill's Playhouse in Mar-Apr 2018?

JTibs is playing so I bet NYC will be taking the flight to Oahu too...but she'll be doing some day trips and not playing because finishing DFL is not much fun.
