argonne69 Based on your familiarity with the course; who among top LPGA players will have the advantage at Aviara? The course does not seem to favor length off the tee. Lydia and Inbee are probably the favorites. They finished 1 and 2 last season, and 3rd and 5th in 2015. They're both playing solid golf right now. That said, SHP had a great 4T finish last year, and with an extra year's experience should challenge. Another dark horse is Hyo Joo with two top 10 finishes in the past two Kia's. Anna won in 2014, and if she continues to put like she did this past week.....

Different weather for this week. My right wrist aches so it will probably rain soon. With all the rain this year, it's a perfect opportunity to toughen up Aviara. Let's hope for less than 20 under Hmmmmmm.....

mr3putt and I had a bet; now everybody is talking about it. The media are a bunch of chumps...especially the Merican media....where do you think they get their ideas for their articles...here of course.

The ANA can't blame the drought for not growing their rough this year.

It's great to have Shi Hyun Ahn playing. My guess is Larry the Looper will not be her caddie. What's the drama about Larry & Ahn? Is Ahn looking for a white husband in San Diego who will treat her better?

Paula Creamer; zero official money after 5 LPGA events. Things are getting serious.

Thanks. It seems like, more often than not, tournaments don't go well for a hometown player. People following Beth this week will get a glimpse of what the galleries are like at ANA.

In Gee needs a great tournament to get back in contention for a Vare repeat. She is way behind SHP and SYR.

In Gee needs a great tournament to get back in contention for a Vare repeat. She is way behind SHP and SYR. She's 10 strokes behind; but there are many more tournaments to go. More importantly, she needs to prove she can beat So Yeon, Sung Hyun, Inbee and Ha Na on a regular basis; which she hasn't done this year or last year. Kia is an important tournament; we'll see a healthy In Gee in her full flight for the first time.
