Nelly is such a smart cookie...she got herself in a field overstuffed with amateurs, which is Bradenton on June 12. No info on how many will be picked...my guess is two. www.fsga.org/Tournament/PairingInfo/17766Courtney Harter will be here. If she can't get into the Dubai Masters in December (at least the pro-am), her manager should be fired.

I think qualifying in a field with more spots would be better for Lucy....she's not a sure thing in Colorado with only 2 spots.

I covered this in the 2016 USWO thread, but I don't mind re-posting: 2012 Shop-Rite, Round Two (June 2): Back to the course...ran into a mob surrounding the 10th tee box, which was there for Cristie Kerr, Ai Miyazato, and Lexi Thompson. I waited for the next group, Mika Miyazato, Tiffany Joh, and Courtney Harter.
The starter at #10 took the time ask the players questions, in case they wanted an ‘enhanced’ announcement – TJoh got one (he started with, “Born in Philadelphia...”).
Regarding Harter, this was her LPGA debut (Monday qualified). Holy cow...imagine a brunette, Mini-Me version of Gulbis, but with a face sort of like Jessica Korda.
****** Courtney's Instagram is Private...how will the Dubai sheiks discover her?

Only two spots available in Missouri on June 7: www.golfgenius.com/pages/871254Ally McDonald and Peiyun Chien are overwhelming favorites to get both spots. I saw Chien at Canoe Brook last year texting like crazy...she tore up the place in the PM and tied for low medalist with Sophia Popov. Overall, quite a dull field, but it includes Hanule (Fake) "Sky" Seo and the Hou sisters from Taiwan, who I saw at last year's US Girls Junior.

I must have seen Harter in Richmond, BC shortly before the 2012 Shoprite. I knew she Monday qualified but wasn't sure of which event. Harter has a better face than Jess...IMO...Jess is an OPEN MOUTH....just sayin.

Shrewsbury's Brittany Altomare and Westford's Alison Walshe are on opposite sides of the draw in the Hingham sectional and two of the few recognizable names on it. Neither they nor Nanna Madsen, Kristy McPherson or Pannarat Thanapolboonyaras are worth my while following so I'll skip this one:www.golfgenius.com/pages/943956Kevin

Lotta Neumann? Does she have access to a Time Machine or the Fountain of Youth?

Some questions to those who have attended a USWO Qualifier:
Are there tickets, or do you just walk in?
Are the fairways and greens roped off, or can you just walk around as long as you stay out of the way?
What's the vibe like? Are the players in game mode or are they approachable before their rounds.
Thinking about going to the Industry Hills qualifier. Any spectator insight is appreciated.

Thinking about going to the Industry Hills qualifier. Any spectator insight is appreciated. Right, stay out of the way. No tickets, no ropes, no volunteers...just show up in your golf threads and shoes and act like you belong. Follow different groups here and there and people will think you're a parent or a coach. I don't know the I.H. parking situation, but I would get there EARLY. I haven't tried talking to the players, but some might appreciated your interest...in 2012 at Trump/Colts Neck, J. Song's looper thanked me for watching her and Elisa Serramia gave me an unsolicited autographed Titleist ball. You have a decent field there...in addition to the players you mentioned, I'd also check out Naomi Ko, Robynn Ree, and incoming USC frosh Alyaa Abdulghany.
