Nelly withdrew, she said she's sick on Instagram live video. After all, it's an LET event, not LPGA.

Junior vs. Hye C. Hopefully those two don't like one another. We also have Minjee Lee, Melissa Reid, Beth Allen and Aditi Ashok.

Eun Jeong Seong was T-46th at Even par.
Mediocre start for Minjee and Eun Jeong. There are apparently two courses being played right now. Looks like a lot of the better scores were on the Creek Course, which Seong, Choi and Laura Davies played (Su Oh and Minjee, too). Angel Yin at 5 under was the top score at the Beach Course.

Can't understand why the LET website hasn't started a photo collection for this event.
Among the early starters in Round 2, Mozo tore up the Beach course with 66 (-7) and is tied for first at -7. Junior just finished with a 68 (-5) on the Beach course and is -5 overall.
Hye Jin Choi is one of five players tied for the lead at -7. She is -2 thru four holes at the Beach course. She could win this thing...that's not crazy...there's only one absolute monster professional to beat in this field, Minjee Lee. Sandra Gal would be the 2nd best pro, then there's a drop-off after that.

+1 first rd for Minjee...she should be EMBARRASSED. I wonder what alley we'll find Allenby past out in this weekend...what a dbag.
Oh ya...this must be a FAKE event...they allow push carts....WTF.

Angel Yin at 5 under was the top score at the Beach Course. Unless the courses are rated incorrectly.....from the blue tees at approx 6100.....we have 73/134 & 73/138....those are crazy tough ratings. For you non-golfers....a slope of 130 indicates a pretty tough layout....a 138 is a very tough rating......though these gals can make a 130 look pretty easy. For 6100 yds....many times they will be rated around 69-70. I have played many courses......I've yet to see any ratings of approx 6100 at these ratings.

Dame Laura went off the rails in Round 2, but she's fighting back, now -4 overall through 14 holes. I think she'll make the cut, which is currently Even. BTW, is there a more interesting interviewee than Laura Davies in women's golf? I doubt it. Meanwhile, I just re-watched the Minjee interview I posted...zzzzzzz...and not the first time. In fairness, the guy asking the questions wasn't that good. Ayaka Matsumori is now three shots behind her sister, which is absurd. Thumbs up to England's Annabel Dimmock, who is -3 overall thru nine holes. I never heard of her before, until I saw a pic gallery assembled at the Sina Golf website a few months ago. I don't remember the exact pix, but I'll bet this was a typical example: https://www.instagram.com/p/BB9wip1v_LV

Yup....LD is pretty kool.
Although I've said it before and I was going to post after watching the Minjee vid....yes...Minjee does lame interviews....she might be as boring as NYC. After watching Minjee around the putting green and rejecting a Korean fangirl's autograph request....it really gave me the impression Minjee doesn't like the attention and requests from the fans....she's no Lexi...but like the majority of golfers....I think Minjee is a bit of an introvert. No don't get me wrong...Minjee is not rude or anything.

So far the resident expert is calling it right. HJC > Terminator > Aditi
From the main venue website...there will be live streaming on Sat & Sun assuming it's no geoblocked.

Annabel will be perfect once she wises up and dumps her boyfriend. I just saw somewhere I can't remember...Ryann has her partner's/wife's surname too. She posted pics recently at the WMPO but stated in 2014 that Arizona is her most hated state.....anti gay laws. The Yanks need Ryann on the Solheim team...she's great at trash talking....I've heard it 1st hand...she has lots of spunk and played g8 at the 2011 SC. I hope Xtina makes the team so we see a Masson/Kim cat fight.....bad blood from 2013 SC....Xtina worked for Sky Sports.
