In Gee was named one of BuzzFeed's "14 Asian Women who are Changing the World". 14 Asian Women who are Changing the WorldShe came in at #11, and yes, in two sentences about her they managed a factual error (she has been a pro for four+ years!). Still, she made the list, which is cooool! I guess buzzfeed staff has a huge InGee fan boy. Every other lady is some humanitarian or women's rights advocate. "Ugh, Brad won't stop emailing me about this golfer chick he wants on the list."

I could have also pointed out that the Buzzfeed article is about her Evian win but illustrated with a photo from the US Women's Open. BUT... whatever, pub is pub!

Nike Golf is a shoe sponsor for 16 golfers on the LPGA/KLPGA, including In Gee Chun, Sung Hyun Park, Jin Young Ko and Min Sun Kim. Meanwhile, there is a rumor going around that In Gee and Hite may part company this season, and that she will be without a main sponsor for a while. When I hear more details I'll let you know, but it puts the signing of Jin Young Ko by Hite into an interesting new light if true.

I'm glad In Gee is going to dump Hite. It is disgraceful to have a giant beer logo on your hat or shirt. She might as well be a NASCAR driver.

Kylie better contact IMG ASAP Oh ya...are they still trolling the Hulk on Naver?

HappyFanIn Gee may not wear Hite gears; but she'll be paid until her contract is up at the end of 2017. This is a positive development; wonder who will replace Hite Jinro?

Yes, she signed a 3 year contract in 2015. If look look at the stuff Happy has done on this site...you'll see pics of Dumbo with Jinro-Hite logo's in 2013....let's face it...we have no idea of the specific start and end dates of any pros endorsements. All we know is that Dumbo better quit goofing around and get IMG on board ASAP and get herself some real money. Although she plays their balls....I'd like to see Dumbo sign a HUGE contract with Srixon to start playing their irons. I think Minjee is the only Srixon staff gaming Srixon clubs and she's kinda a ghost for LPGA exposure. If Korea truly LOVED Dumbo...... she should look like a NASCAR driver.....look at how Japan takes care of the women golfers with respect to endorsements.

The story I read said that In Gee is willing to be patient shopping for a new sponsor because she believes the next one could be huge. When she started her second Hite sponsorship (her first one she got right after she turned pro), she was a top notch KLPGA pro who had yet to prove herself on the world stage. Now she is a two-time Major winner who is third in the world.

This is the last time I respond to you. What do you mean "we have no idea of the specific start and end dates of any pros endorsements"? It's spelled out in this article that Jin Young Ko signed a three year contract starting January, 2017. According to this article, In Gee signed her first contract with Hite Jinro in the 2nd half of 2012 and a 2nd contract in January 2015. Her second contract is similar to Jin Young Ko.

The story I read said that In Gee is willing to be patient shopping for a new sponsor because she believes the next one could be huge. That's Max Eisenbud did with Maria Sharapova. Max signed up Maria for IMG when she's 12 but didn't sign any endorsement contracts until when she hit the jackpot by winning 2004 Wimbledon at 17. The rest is history.

mr3puttAccording to this article, In Gee's second contract with Hite Jinro signed on January 2015 was for 5 years. www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/news/biz/2015/07/123_182665.htmlChun, the seventh Korean national to win the U.S. national championship, renewed her sponsorship contract with Hite Jinro in January for another five years.
