A good article about Bo Mee; written by a Korean in English. www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/news/sports/2016/11/159_218192.htmlWith the 20th career win, Lee also received more pleasant news from her country. The KLPGA announced Monday it will grant a permanent seed to Lee as she fulfilled the required minimum 20 wins from among the KLPGA, U.S. LPGA, JLPGA and the Ladies European Tour. A golf expert said Lee was able to succeed in Japan as she keeps her club shaft as parallel to the ground as possible to hit the ball hard all the time.

And this is important because................................... Smile Candy will continue to give the KLPGA the one finger salute and I never saw Annika, Karrie, Juli, Lorena nor Dame Laura take advantage of the 20 win rule...just sayin.

A golf expert said Lee was able to succeed in Japan as she keeps her club shaft as parallel to the ground as possible to hit the ball hard all the time. Likely the author's 1st language is not English....I found the bold to be confusing. I think if he said BML's ability to stay down through the ball at and after impact as long as possible assists in preventing her from pulls or slices. In the article they say the Terminator has an upper cut action...this is nothing unique to LPGA pros....the majority of the LPGA pros have a positive AoA on their driver...creating further carry...therefore further distance.

Bo Mee is the defending champ of this event and she was the defending champ last week.
After every JLPGA tournament, a WITB is posted for the winner. Looks like she upgraded only her FWs to the latest models...I like how Honma stole Boeing's numbering scheme:

Wednesday practice: Bo Mee Lee...it was reported that her website was cyber attacked recently. I hadn't seen it in a few months, but when I checked it now (leebomee.com), it looks totally different. It might be a work-in-progress to restore it. There are a couple of articles on Rikako Morita, whose game has cratered in the last three years. She's 68th on the money list, but it's the top-50 that gets full playing privileges next season. Does seven career wins mean nothing? I guess so...Chie Arimura is in Q-school this year and she has 13 career wins. Next week's event is a limited field tournament-of-champions, so there's a lot of focus on the top-50 money list this week...a translated article has the word "deathmatch" in it! Here's #49 thru #52: 49 Hikari Fujita 50 Hiromi Mogi 51 Kotono Kozuma 52 Asako Fujimoto

There is no webcam or broadcast of any kind for Round One. The regular TV broadcasts are in my first post. As for special coverage at the 1st hole, they'll do that for Rounds Two thru Four. I'll post a schedule later.

Here's the video streaming schedule at the 1st hole (Japan time): Friday: 8:00 - 10:45 AM (Live) 12:15 - 3:15 PM (Live) 5:30 - 8:15 PM (Replay) 8:15 - 11:15 PM (Replay) Saturday: 7:30 - 9:45 AM (Live) 9:30 - 10:30 PM (Replay) Sunday: 7:30 - 9:45 AM (Live) 7:30 - 9:45 PM (Replay) 9:45 - 11:15 PM (Replay) The Bing translation identifies the channel as "CS broadcast, tele G +". At mokodojo.net, there's a channel called "CS-NTV-G+". I assume this is the right channel...if so, here's the link: mokodojo.net/KTW.swf?src=http://203.162.76.92:5021/live/207|c03I hope this is the right channel because the video is 99% perfect...currently showing soccer, United Arab Emirates team vs. somebody. ************ Erina Hara birdied her last five holes on the back-nine...currently -6, leads by three shots as she starts the front-nine. For "the tournament within a tournament", Ritsuko Ryu (-2 thru 11 holes) leads Bo Mee Lee (E thru 10 holes) by two strokes. BML has ten straight pars. Sky Kim is grouped with Ryu Ai Suzuki and Momoko Ueda

When it comes to getting a top-50 position on the money list this year, Asako Fujimoto and Hikari Fujita would not be denied during Round One (Fujita has the Japan-only Callaway Big Bertha Beta driver). Erina Hara's 7 straight birdies was one short of tying the tour record of 8 straight in a round (Shinobu Moromizato, 2011) Erika Kikuch followed by Sun Ju Ahn(-1) Shiho Oyama can do the black leggings look as well as anyone. Ha Neul Kim Haruka Morita tee shot at par-4 15th hole...this is Ellair GC Matsuyama, about 350 miles SW of Tokyo.

I'm testing that streaming link again to see if it works...it currently has NFL highlights from Week 9...we'll see later if it's the right one that covers the 1st hole (8 AM Friday, Japan time).
BTW, Bo Mee Lee and Ayaka Matsumori are grouped with a JLPGA Stepup Tour wannabe, Shiori Ehara (+2). Why? Is there a Big Break Japan?! Her best finish in the minors this year is T-38. They'll tee off at 9:48 AM.
