The best part of the broadcast was Asako Fujimoto sobbing into the shoulder of another woman (mom? sister? gf?) after her round. She advanced from #52 to #49 on the money list (top-50 is the magic number for getting a full ride in 2017). What is she doing?

I saw a white guy looping...is he Teresa Lu's caddie?....was he not Ji Ya's previous loop? Nope, he caddies for Mamiko Higa and indeed he was previously Ji-yai's loop. There are actually quite a few white guys who caddie on the JLPGA Tour.

BML Good eye by mr3putt...this looper was with JY Shin in 20012-13...see next pic. Jiyai Shin, of South Korea, hugs caddy Florian Rodriguez, of France, as she celebrates winning the Kingsmill Championship LPGA Tour golf tournament in Williamsburg, Va., Monday, Sept. 10, 2012. It was the first tournament in which they have been paired together. (AP Photo/Steve Helber)

At today's conversion rate, Higa made about $281K this year (includes 17 missed cuts). She probably doesn't qualify for the last tournament of the year...will know for sure later.
