Hopefully, this is the nail in the coffin that convinces SHP to stay in Korea and avoid the LPGA tour. She has nothing to prove. You cannot give her the name "Terminator" and ask her to avoid the big league. Or you have to put an asterisk next to it. The Terminator*

I'm not sure winning the Marathon Classic presented by Owens Corning and O-I proves much of anything. I thought it was a good nickname because of her expressionless appearance in the photos posted here. Clearly, she's not a terminator on the golf course--at least once she gets on the putting surface.
Eventually, the LPGA will be based in Korea, she should join at that time. I will continue to root for her regardless of where she plays. I hold her in high esteem and she is my favorite player even though she can't beat Ciganda or Lang when it counts. She can still prove she is a world class player without being one of Whan's slaves.

No. I am watching at work. It is the perfect storm. The Dodgers, Wisconsin and A. Lee all choked simultaneously. This will be bad if Alison can't come back. I feel bad. Really bummed that Bucky couldn't finish it off against Ohio State. At least us Cub fans weren't shut out Saturday. Also hope the Badgers don't have a let down now that they're at the part of the schedule they're expected to win.

I believe the putter used by GIMMEE is an old Nike putter. I think Paige Mac used it for a while at the beginning of her 2007 rookie year and I think Wie also used it for a while too.

How about proving that you can compete with, and beat, the best players in the world? Take it easy Arg...just because you are mad that Dumbo played another week without your head cover...don't take it out on fanofseri.....he's the BEST and most RESPECTED member of this site...his insight is WORLD CLASS and UNTOUCHABLE.

Last year, we had 145 posts and 5,574 views on this tournament; two thirds of the posts but 50% more views than this year.
Do we have more members posting but less visitors lurking?

I wonder how many of those 5,574 views were accumulated over one year after tournament was over? Edit: The accumulation over time was the answer. 2016 US Women's Open thread had 6,950 views when it's completed; it has 16,996 views today.

That's nothing compared to the 295,000 views of Arg's WRX fashion thread dominated by the Korean hotties...lol.

Sung Hyun has not indicated if she will or will not join the LPGA tour next year. I believe she has qualified for membership on the LPGA without a win. As for competing on the LPGA tour, I believe she is in the top thirty on the official LPGA money list. That from the limited number of tournaments she played in. It wasn't like she played that bad in Hanna Bank, after all she had a top ten.
