Well, I give up, I have no idea how you guys are watching this, because I haven't been able to find a Japanese TV link for this anywhere... SBS Golf will have two replays of Round One on Friday (Korea time) at 12:30 AM and 8 AM. RANK PLAYER SCORE TODAY 1R 2R 3R 4R TOTAL 1 Haruka Morita -3 -3 68 68 2T Ai Suzuki -2 -2 69 69 2T Ritsuko Ryu -2 -2 69 69 2T @minori Nagano -2 -2 69 69 5T @riri Sadoyama -1 -1 70 70 5T @nasa Hataoka -1 -1 70 70 5T Kotone Hori -1 -1 70 70 5T @sayaka Takahashi -1 -1 70 70 5T Chie Arimura -1 -1 70 70 5T Megumi Kido -1 -1 70 70 5T @kokone Yoshimoto -1 -1 70 70 5T Erika Kikuchi -1 -1 70 70 5T Asuka Kashiwabara -1 -1 70 70 5T Misae Yanagisawa -1 -1 70 70 The USGA's Mike Davis must have a distant cousin working for the JGA...the 490 yard 17th hole (downhill drive with water running down the entire right side and a pond in front of the green) was classified as a par 4. Bo Mee quit after shooting 77...she's still first on the Points and Money lists, but it's no longer a lock that she'll remain there by year-end. Mi Hyang started at +3, then birdied 11 thru 13, but finished with bogeys on 16 thru 18. Mi Hyang(+3) and Sky(+1) were upstaged by the amateur in their group, Sayaka Takahashi Dumbo(+4)

SBS Golf is either too early or too late for me, so I guess I'm going to have to miss watching any of this unless my luck changes!
Pretty bad day for the Koreans in China and Japan... I guess given how well In Gee has been playing, she was bound to have a bad round sooner or later, and really it was only half a bad round. But though she could easily miss the cut tomorrow, she's still only 7 back, and given how tough the course is playing, if she could shoot one in the 60s she could still get herself into this one. Hope she's going to keep her chin up and go out there Friday with her usual positive attitude. Go In Gee!
Jiyai, Ji Hee and Ha Neul, meanwhile, are right in this one. Even par is a good score out there.
Go Sisters!!

Watched a partial replay of the Japan Open of 2015. Do anybody know the third golfer in the playoff with In Gee and Mi Hyang. I don't remember ever seeing her and probably ignored the name last year.

Not the most compelling broadcast, since many of the top players had already completed the second round when it started. Late in the broadcast, they flashed some stats on the par-4 490-yard 17th hole: no birdies on Thu., four on Fri., scoring average greater than 4.9 both days. The cut was +7 which allows 64 players to play the weekend. RANK PLAYER SCORE TODAY 1R 2R 3R 4R TOTAL 1 Kotone Hori -5 -4 70 67 137 2 @minori Nagano -4 -2 69 69 138 3 Asuka Kashiwabara -2 -1 70 70 140 4T Jiyai Shin -1 -1 71 70 141 4T Ji-Hee Lee -1 -2 72 69 141 4T Erika Kikuchi -1 0 70 71 141 4T Ai Suzuki -1 +1 69 72 141 8T Yuko Fukuda 0 -2 73 69 142 8T Ha-Neul Kim 0 -1 72 70 142 8T Chie Arimura 0 +1 70 72 142 8T Hiromi Mogi 0 -3 74 68 142 8T @nasa Hataoka 0 +1 70 72 142 8T Mayu Hattori 0 -1 72 70 142 8T Ritsuko Ryu 0 +2 69 73 142 Kotone Hori Minori Nagano(A) walked the fairways with a bag of divot fill. In Gee isn't having too great a week, although at least she improved significantly over round 1 and made the cut. She's still within ten shots, so a win is theoretically possible, but a top ten is a more likely goal. Good luck to her on the weekend! Here's hoping she has a great round coming on moving day!
Meanwhile, Jiyai Shin is in perfect position, and this is exactly the kind of tournament she excels at. And Ha Neul is not too far back, either. This would be an enormous win for Ha Neul if she can pull it off.
Go Sisters!!!!

I wish they would add English names next to players name. I don't watch too many Japanese tournaments, because of the time they are shown. I guess I will have to start putting their hat logo next to their names. Keep the list when I watch their tournaments. That's how I learned to recognize KLPGA players a long time ago.
Yes I thought it was strange to see Minori Nagano fill divots with grass seeds.
Really glad In Gee didn't miss the cut, like she did in her other Open defense. Now that she is not playing with Teresa Lu, her Kryptonite maybe she will play better.

SBS Golf will show two more replays of Round Two today at 3:30 pm and 8:30 pm EST.
The SBS Golf broadcast is better than the Japanese broadcast in one respect: SBS sometimes phonetically spell the Japanese names in Korean characters on their graphics, which I can decipher if they leave them on the screen long enough.
