It's a shame we won't get to see Ha Na's GOLD celebration. Really it could have been the Olympic highlight of the day. No kidding my friend. The Koreans are such dopes...how they DESTROYED one of their up and coming stars and she'll never be the same. Actually they DESTROYED two starlets....this whole LUGGAGEGATE has also taken a toll on Dumbo.....look at her play before Singapore.....look at it now....she too will never be the same. Hopefully they leave Seong and Choi alone.

`1st rd pairings Amy Yang's REAL name is Hee Young? ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) They should have paired Ko, Ariya and the Canadian Princess together...and they Lexi, Charley and Minjee/or Aza as another feature group. www.rio2016.com/en/golf-womens-round-1

Off-topic. I wanted to change my avatar to Muni's most recent Instagram post, but my reputation is already tarnished. It's not that bad...but I can't figure out how to copy a pic to this post. It was easy to do, but I'll have Muni posted for only a day or two before switching back to MHL (who is playing the KLPGA this week ![:-*](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/kiss.png) ).

Lydia w/ the swede and brit is clever pairing too tho. Nordq and Hull If any swedes or brits take in the women's even after watching the men they will be introduced to GOAT#3 Lydia Ko. LOVE that Lydia is getting feature in the last group. This is her show, along w/ Team Korea (and Aryia/Brooke I guess) and she can handle the stage.

I flipped channels to the Golf Channel and, lo and behold, there was a several minute long piece on the Korean golfers, followed by several more minutes of discussion by the panel. If I manage to find the video for it on their site, I'll be sure to post. But it was nice to see! They even ended it by showing Amy Yang on the driving range.

The special on Martin and Gerina is pretty funny. They go fishing in a drainage pond in their suburban neighborhood. I like Gerina even tho she surely thinks we're all going to hell for something.
The ones on Ko and the Koreans are both great. Golf Channel has been bringing it pretty well this week.

It looks like Na Yeon is part of the Korean coverage. She should be on the Golf Channel. She hasn't been speaking English for long time and is already far more interesting than the Steroidstam.

Kudos to the Golf Channel for not just focusing on the usual suspects this week. It's a pity they couldn't have gotten So Yeon Ryu to sit in the booth; she would have been awesome, based on her performance doing that in the past. I found the clip discussing the South Korean women on Golf Channel. Alas, they didn't include the actual piece about them, which was the more interesting part of the segment, but at least you can see what they said about the piece you can't watch online! In less than a day, the Olympic golf starts! Yay! ![](http://t1.daumcdn.net/news/201608/16/sportskhan/20160816195105309lgvl.jpg) So how will the Sisters do? Below I'll give a few thoughts about the Koreans and their chances. Inbee Park
I hope Inbee gets some attention this week. After all, she is the only Hall of Famer, male or female, in the Olympic field. Pros: It does seem like she's a little healthier than she's been. It's hard for me to tell how important putting is on this particular course (IE, are these greens tricky or relatively easy?). but from my limited viewing of the men's tournament, it seems like putting and short game around the green will be crucial. She's likely to be least affected by her injury in that department, and we all know she's unsurpassed in those areas. And no Korean, perhaps no player, is more clutch when it counts. Cons: Can't get around the fact that she's still not 100% and has played almost no golf in the past three months. Can't even remember the last time she played four full rounds. Probably the ANA? Key: If she can stay patient, muddle through and put together two good opening rounds, we might see something special. She wants this more than anything else in her career, and a medal here would salvage an otherwise lost season. Sei Young KimPros: she has the length, and she is really good in windy conditions. The weather report calls for a fair amount of wind this week. And other than Inbee, no one is better at closing the deal than Sei Young. Excellent all around game, and a FIGHTER. Only Sister with wins this year. Cons: Sei Young has not played all that well in big events lately. She also tends to be inconsistent: either she's right in the hunt or not a factor. Which Kim will show up? Keys: Don't make any big mistakes and stay in contact until Sunday. Then let er rip! Amy YangPros: when a big title is being contested, Amy is almost always in the hunt. She is long, strong, and has a great all around game. Cons: Amy is possibly the weakest closer among this group. She tends to make mistakes when she gets in the hunt. But she doesn't have to win to get a medal, which might make this an ideal tournament for her. Keys: Stay close, and if you can win, great. If not, grab silver or bronze. In Gee Chun
Pros: superlative golfer tee to green, and other than Inbee the best putter among the Koreans. She has almost no flaws, and her attitude keeps her positive even when things are going wrong. Knows how to close. Cons: After an amazing start to her season, In Gee has tapered off. I personally think it's all the travel added to getting used to her new tour that has ground her down a bit, so hopefully a few weeks in Korea has rejuvenated her. The other big question mark: can she handle it if it gets windy? She has had trouble with wind in the past, and there will be wind here. Keys: Putting. She especially needs to have a good first round. I think her tee to green game will be OK, but she needs to make her putts like she was earlier in the season. If she does that, she could go all the way. GOOD LUCK SISTERS!!!! HWAITING!

In Gee played some of her best golf in the last 2 months during the last 2 rounds of British Women's Open; those are something to feel good about.
Play your best, In Gee; go for the gold!
