Ssu-Chia Cheng and Simin Feng (the latter playing for Mainland China) have the task of trying to Monday qualify after competing in the International Crown.

This is such an insignificant tournament I've never paid much attention. The qualifying process is geared to allow in the usual suspects. The Terminator was thrown a bone, but what about some other top money winners from the KLPGA? I never knew the JLPGA is so much more prestigious.
At least Whan is in agreement that this tournament means nothing. Why else would you force some of the best players in the world to perform in an exhibition, the day before a flight overseas?

I watched the last hour of the LET's Scottish Open final round replay this AM. I'm sorry to say that Becky Morgan completed gagged on a three-shot lead after Saturday's round...nice lady, I chitchatted with her at this year's Shop-Rite. The broadcasters said she has played 300+ LPGA and 100+ LET events and has never won. She used a PXG 8-iron on the 18th hole. I guess she is sold on their sticks; she had a long discussion with a PXG rep at the Seaview range in June. I didn't see any PXG logos on her clothes or bag. She still uses a T/M M1 or M2 driver.

Lydia should've been looking for her fifth consecutive major this week if not for her largesse. Lydia won ANA because of Ariya's largesse; but she turned around and bestowed her largesse towards Brooke and Brittany Lang the next 2 majors.
Who will be the beneficiary of Lydia's largesse this week!

Who will be the beneficiary of Lydia's largesse this week! I was thinking about Ko's wins....hmmmm....I believe if Lydia is familiar with a course and is well prepared she puts herself in a better position to win. As an Am...she won the CN CWO because she used a local loop and was able to see/play the courses before the pros arrived. She won her 1st Swing Skirt at Lake Merced cause she used the same local loop who was on her bag at the 2012 Jr Girl's Am. I believe she played the Marathon as an Am invite before she won the following year. I think she has yet to win a USWO and WBO because the courses they play are on a rotation...so she's not quite familiar with those courses....though she doesn't normally venture to those courses before an event to check it out...but it is normally a couple of months prior.....I'm not saying she won't win them in her career...but it seems her wins have come when she gets quite familiar with a course. Only an observation...things can change in the future.

Lydia won her first Swinging Skirt tournament in China. When So Yeon gave up a big lead on the back nine. I hope I never see that look on So Yeon's face again, after she realized she wouldn't win.

The Taiwanese are a bit confused....at the SS years ago in Taiwan...they had a customized Pink Panther logo'd black Benz waiting for the Pink Diva at the airport...I guess the Taiwanese like phony.

She will re-write all record books if she plays long enough.

With a 4 putt if I recall correctly. It was typically So Yeon brutal to watch.. I do believe that was the start of SYR's anti-Ko sentiment. She got burned by LK a couple of times early on.. lol

I'll be glad when Golf is no longer in the Olympics, imagine having a schedule like this every four years, for ever..

More Koreans should dislike Ko. That's how you grow the game. IGC should never have braided Lydia's hair at ANA.
I doubt if Seve would have done the same for that creep Paul Azinger.

But she putted it three to four feet by. Miss putt coming back. Hence four putt. The beginning of the end for her that day.
