I'm thrilled that So Yeon is on the team. She was really good last time, and I would love to see her and In Gee pair together at some point. Ha Na is clearly not as unhealthy as Inbee is. I wonder if she has just decided the UL is one tournament too many, especially if she wants to make the Olympics? I'm glad So Yeon is on the team since I'll be going and she's one I'd like to see. But Ha Na "deciding the UL is one tournament too many"?? She's only played one LPGA tournament since early April. And if she does want to make the Olympic team, she needs to play! It's a real shame that her year is really messed up. She was on the way to being a star.

Ha Na and In Gee will be paired together in every major so they don't win.
Really pathetic that KPMG paired these two together to increase exposure for their corporate brand in Korea.

I'm sure if she were fully healthy she would try to play in as many of the big events as she could.

I guess the Korean version of anemia is medically translated to...."I don't want to play on the same team as Dumbo" I like Ha Na, but can't help to notice that In Gee played her worst tournament of the year when she paired with Ha Na for three days. She was still in contention after two rounds, though (so was Ha Na). It was only on Saturday that they both slipped down the leaderboard.

Japan looks really strong. Even in 2014 they did well and the team is totally better now. They are my pick. US is going to under perform. I see China or Australia beating team Korea.
It's really too bad Ha-Na and In-Gee have so much tension. I wish they would just fix it because Ha-Na makes the team stronger.

Glad that Sei Young, In Gee, Amy and So Yeon will resurface this week. The entire team collectively disappeared from the scene after USWO and hasn't been heard since.
Wonder if In Gee has fired Dr. Won Park or chosen to minimize his influence! She will be 22 in 3 weeks; time to take over her own life.

It's really too bad Ha-Na and In-Gee have so much tension. I wish they would just fix it because Ha-Na makes the team stronger. China beating Korea? Well, at the recent KLPGA event in China, the only Chinese player to make the top ten was Feng. And that was against a depleted field where most of the KLPGA stars stayed home (and even the KLPGA stars aren't the caliber of the Korean UL team). I have to say I would be majorly disappointed if the Koreans don't finish ahead of China. Australia did terribly last time, but apparently they are much better now? Not sure about that, either. But I felt they underperformed in 2014, so who knows? What is it about the Japanese team that impresses you over the four top-twelve-in-the-world players on the Korean squad? Yes, Japan won Kowa, but that was in Japan. And they barely eked out the win. And only two of the four Korean UL team members were there. I do think the Korean squad has weaknesses. Only Sei Young Kim has won this year. In Gee is not at her top level, but even her B level is pretty darn good. The team portion of the festivities has proven problematic for them at times. But Amy is coming off a great Open, and So Yeon was great last time at the Cup and is playing really consistent golf right now. The real key is finding some good teams. Last time, the Koreans were hampered by two team members who were trending down badly, NYC and Inky. But they also had Inbee, who was arguably the best player in the field. This time, no Inbee, but they have length in Amy and Sei Young, whereas they had no bombers last time. For the Koreans to win, they need to come up with teams with chemistry and find that MVP player who can rise to the occasion and do what Inbee did for them last time. I like their chances. Who would you team together on Team Korea? Go Sisters!

Who would you team together on Team Korea? Can't team up Sei Young and In Gee; their performance at 2015 Kowa was uncalled for. So Yeon is the elder spokewoman, team her up with Sei Young and keep Sei Young under wraps; Amy and In Gee can be a MVP team.

UL International Crown is public's ticket to Gurnee's Merit Club www.dailyherald.com/article/20160718/sports/160719138/Michael Jordan and Brian Urlacher are among the members of an ultraprivate Lake County country club who have given up their 325 acres of golf paradise this week so thousands of people can attend an international women's tournament.

I like the moxy and cockiness of Charley, Mel & Jodi in this match play format...not saying they'll win...but will be good TV...especially if we hear some swearing from all 3.

Who would you team together on Team Korea? The Koreans need someone like Tutta to coach them prior to the event.....a step on your throat and win at ALL COSTS attitude...the Koreans are too nice.....it's all about head games and playing mind games with your opponent...ask Seve.....lol. It's a shame we won't see a foursomes format....I like it better than 4ball. I think the Koreans will switch partners...but I'd start Bada*s with Amy and Dumbo with SYR to start on Thurs. I wonder if there are any Flying Dumbo's in Chitown? Argonne69...you attending?
