Watching In Gee's fake fist pumps after she holes a putt is pretty funny. You can tell she's the only one who read the full LPGA player manual.
But I won't know whether to laugh or cry when the TV cameras pick up that her yardage book is really a sudoku book.

I forgot to mention In Gee's dad.
Whenever she misses a makeable birdie putt.
He shows no frustration, just says "great par".
Seems like a very likeable person.
Just like So Yeon's mom.

In Gee absolutely choked today. It happened to the best of them; Nicklaus, Palmer and etc. IGC is burdened with unreasonable expectations and a swing that needs a little fine tuning. As long as she wins at CordeValle, 2016 will be considered a moderate success. |

Bada*s's wild driver shows up on 17 & 18 and gags it on 18.
OK...playoff.....Ciganda's is very wild....lucky for Bada*s....but Ciganda's got TMac on the bag.
So how many holes do they play in the playoff...I say 2 holes.
Karma is on Ciganda's side due to Bada*s gagging it on the 72nd hole...but I'm rooting for SYK....did MHL's cheer give SYK some luck?

All disappointments aside, there are positives from In Gee today.
She birdied #11 and #14 to climb back to even par; and delivered an exquisite chip on #16 to save par and save her solo third finish.
While bad, it's an improvement from Kingsmill when she played the final group of the final round.

I'm really disappointed Bada*s didn't spin kick or smash one of the grandstands down.
Hmmmmmm....Dumbo being the teacher's pet and congratulating SYK and showing class by buying some champagne or sparkling wine vs. some water.
I'm not surprised Ciganda gagged the playoff...remember her gagging coming home and the playoff at the 2014 CME to lose to Ko.
How can she smile after a lousy 5 on 18...huh...WTF.
Lexi chokes at the final rd ANA and does it again today...she just can't chip and putt.
Oh ya...congrats to SYK.....I'm disappointed Dumbo was flat.

Lexi has a driver advantage...therefore a shorter shot to attack pins....but her back is still a question mark. Dumbo's putting is superior to Lexi's sledge hammer. Did you see Lexi's putting today, especially the 18 ft. par save on par 4 #15? She's been putting well, not sledge hammer at all. The only driver advantage Lexi has is par 5 #5, which is longer than 540 yards. Otherwise, In Gee can reach all other par 5's in 2. Did you notice how many clubs different Lexi was on her approach shots today vs. Dumbo....on one hole Dumbo 6 iron Lexi Gap wedge. |
