Talk about gags....Emily Tubert shoot a Norman like 78 to lose by 6 shots.
OK...let's see if the OTHER Dumbo can hang on....it's great to hear the GOAT in the booth and still close to 3 hrs of coverage left. Too bad The King was not healthy enough to attend.

Don Good avatar change. You are getting closer to the ss.com HOF induction...the only member?....yup you guessed it....fanofseri....his fake comment will go down in infamy and so far he's the only member to get another member to quit the forum.
OK....nice cheating....Dumbo gets to drop from the rough to the fairway...LMAO...I'm sure if he was in the fairway...he would not have asked for TIO relief.
Hmmmm....no surprise...all the Yanks yelling MASHED POTATOES at Oakmont. Make America Great Again!!!

Dumbo didn't really choke. It is like the horse racing term, she just didn't fire. It happens.

Congratulation to Sei Young for winning. When she made bogey on eighteen, I went "oh no". Then I remembered her record in playoffs, I wasn't too worried about her winning.
Of course So Yeon got me excited again with her start, but as she has done too many times. She could not finish strong.
The biggest surprise for me was In Gee not playing better. If I had known that eighteen under would win, I would be confident that it would be In Gee.

Right after S.Y. Kim had put the ball in for the win, I noticed her hugging her caddy and getting showered by In Gee. I wished that Sei Young had gone over to Carlota to congratulate her first before she celebrated her win. In Gee should have waited also. A little bit of golf etiquette maybe?

I blame it on Dumbo...she should have waited until SYK and Carlota shook hands/hugged....Dumbo's caddy...supposedly a veteran .......also rushed the green. He tried to shower Paula Fusco...but he cowered....lol. I'm pretty sure once SYK hugged Paul...the two players would have shook hands/hugged....Dumbo was premature and should have known better....but I'll still be a Dumbo fanboy. Did you notice that when DJ sank his birdie it took quite some time for DJ to shake Westwood's hand....Paulina and son rushed onto the green...and it was Westwood who initiated the handshake. There are many breaches of golf etiquette...especially playing a casual rd....and even with competitive Am's who should know better.

Congratulations, Sei Young! She put the hammer down with the amazing approach shot on the playoff hole.
P.K. Kongkraphan achieved her first top ten of the season after missing the cut seven straight times.

PK had her housing billet host loop for her....local knowledge rules....just ask Lydia...2012/2013 CWO, 2014 Swinging Skirts.
Aza changes loops often...she a a new guy this week...maybe a local?....Tim was on her bag at Sahalee. Tim wasn't looping at the start of the season.
Talking about hubby's....I wonder if Gerina's progression in the last few years is in part due to Martin...ya he's not a premier PGA pro...but the guy still has game if he can play on the show.

There isn't much etiquette anywhere, anymore. Why should golf be different?

In Gee absolutely choked today. It happened to the best of them; Nicklaus, Palmer and etc. Oh good grief, she certainly did not choke today. You guys get way too critical of these golfers sometimes. I was of course rooting for In Gee to take this, but she's had three strong rounds this week, and it's very hard to come up with four in a row. Today it got a little windy, and as we've learned she is not yet as strong in the wind. But her putting was still fine. She had numerous wonderful shots during the broadcast. Just missed the eagle on 7. Hit a great shot from trouble to about five feet later (but didn't make the birdie). Drained a sweet birdie on 14 to keep herself in it. Hit an incredible pitch on 16 from a crappy lie that tracked to inches of the hole but somehow didn't go in. Then on 18 hit a textbook chip to inches to save par and preserve her solo third. So, not a win, but even while struggling, she produced a whole bunch of impressive stuff, and another top three finish. So Yeon really looked for a minute like she might sneak up and take it. But like she sometimes does, she made a big run, then as soon as she got close enough to make a difference, made a few key mistakes. Still a good try, but a bit of a bummer. Fortunately, Sei Young Kim was there to step up and get the job done. I was a little worried when she bogied the last, but then I remembered how strong she is in playoffs. And even with a bad drive, she bounced back with a phenomenal rescue from deep rough to three feet. She flat out earned that win today and, as usual, did it in exciting fashion. So, if this were the Olympics, think of it as a gold and a bronze. I'll take that in Rio if they can do it! Congrats to Sei Young and the other Sisters!!! Hwaiting!
