when i think of Univ of Wisconsin, which isnt very often, its football, rose bowl, great fight song and those funny cheese hats. It's football, Rose Bowl, great fight song, jump around, and FINAL FOURS! Nigel's coming back - Go Badgers!

This tournament is more entertaining than 90% of the pro events. Well done GC. Wow, that was really fun! So many swings of momentum, hole outs. Tough to beat team match play.

I hope the morons that run the Olympics saw that and realize medal play is obsolete.
When they play at Griffith Park in 2024 I want to see the USA vs. Korea for the gold. Unless, I'm dead, then they can do whatever they want.

You folks in the Pac NW should attend the annual tournament hosted by U-Wash. at Sahalee in the fall. I'm sure a lot of big-time teams and players will be there.
Going to a women's college golf tournament should be added to my bucket list. Princeton and Rutgers have golf courses on their properties. The only problem is that the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast teams stink. How on earth did Princeton get someone as good as Kelly Shon? She must be a total bookworm. I wonder if her game would be more advanced if she had attended one of the marquis golf schools down south or out west. Are Shon and Heather Daly-Donofrio(Yale) the only two Ivy-Leaguers to make it to the LPGA? I can't think of any others.

Now we need the killer golf teams. University Ridge needs to be enclosed and available for year round play. That should be easy for the egghead engineers to figure out..

Historical side note: Scotland claims inventing the game of golf, but there is documented historical evidence that the game of golf as we know it was first played in China during the Song Dynasty (around year 1000). It was called Chuiwan. The game then traveled to other parts of the world including Scotland by trade merchants. Thanks for the info....I didn't know this. China RULES Baby!!

The coverage of this event is spectacular...kudos GC. They must had 12+ TV personnel...never mind all the people behind the scenes working on the production...camera work was excellent. There was a lot of money, infrastructure and resources dedicated.
I appreciate Steve Barkowski's college coverage. I like Lisa Cornwell...also easy on the eyes. I've also don't mind Kay's work too.
Paige needed to talk some valium.....I think Paige has been engaged for some time....very low key about it....likely due to her prior stalking incident.
Kudos to the members of Eugene G&CC for giving up their club for over 2 weeks (men next week)....a great looking track....I really love a classic parkland style course.

Wow what a come back from Alvarez after she gagged 3 jacked the 18th. What great 3rd shots on both playoff holes.
Her pitch on a tight lie on the 2nd playoff was a recipe for a chunk or Vince Scully...to hit it within 8" is outstanding.
Lauren Kim did a great job to comeback from 3 down...what a shot on 18....but she was short sided on her chip on the 2nd playoff hole. For grad school she should attend Dr. Won Park's golf factory and do her thesis on closing it out.
Rhee nearly beat Stackhouse...but Stackhouse prevails once again.
Happy to see the gal from Luo get the vote to play the Marathon on the LPGA...kudos! China RULES Baby!!
So much AMAZING golf!!!
Kudos to Stackhouse and Kim in their post rd interview in defeat....#CLASS #RESPECT

I played Jr and Sr High golf. I had 0 to do with the coach. Nobody did. The college coaches get right up in the players personal space. I'd hate that.

WOOF! WOOF! GO DAWGS!!! Phil, you may remember Jeehae Lee, a Yale graduate and her brief career on the LPGA. Vern good catch....correct. To me.... Jeehae seems pretty aloof...like her boss Wie, when she was MW's bag woman....I said hi to Jeehae at the 2012 CN CWO without any response. Likely stuck up? ?does she come from a wealthy family? Did her MBA at Wharton and now at Top Golf. Just found this article on cyberspace. poetsandquants.com/2015/04/24/wharton-student-calls-out-peers-over-racism/Although never LPGA material, entitled Chinese Princess, Stephanie Wei of weiunderpar.com also attended and played on an ivy league team...Yale or Princeton?
