Congratulations to Jenny for her first LPGA win.
Good second place finish for Amy, M J and Gerina. Even though they aren't to thrilled by how they finished. Mainly Gerina, who played so great the first three days. Kudos to the other top ten finishers.
Good comeback by In Gee. She is so mentally strong.
I wish that I could say the same about So Yeon. I have blamed her inconsistent play on her putting. However you don't play the first fifteen holes minus two. Then play the last three bogy, bogy double bogy. Because of bad putting. It looks like mentally she is not staying, in the moment.
I believe she only need to play three good rounds. Then finish strong the last round. Don't have to win just advance up the leaderboard. Then maybe she can get a win and go forward. The talent is there.

1)Congrats to Jenny. Although I was rooting for Gerina, Jenny was sure a nice alternative for me. 2)It's always nice to see someone get that first win, especially someone as nice as Jenny. 1) Really...you rooting for a Merican?....I'm shocked. 2) Hmmm....not according to someone on WRX. "Too bad she is as ugly as they come on the inside. She's not a very nice person. ".....post #82. www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/1324942-2016-volunteers-of-america-texas-shootout/page__st__60

One would think SYR's handlers would advise her that hanging out with a guy who eventually couldn't break 90 and crying in the locker room at The Open Championship would not be a suitable mentor...just sayin.

Two hours after she finished, In Gee's -4 stood the test of time and is still the clubhouse leader. 18majors Were you previously employed by GC?....kinda like when they write about MW when she didn't make the cut and not a factor for the win.

Gerina is standing on a trap door...it's so obvious...she has hit 52 of 54 greens, but leads by only two shots over a horde of Asian invaders. Yes......Gerina is playing super well and has the power to man handle the par 5's and can have shorter approach shots. BUT As not previously..... current form can be over rated....a hot streak can only last so long and any pro can go low.
If Gerina does lose it will be her brain getting in the way. I'd like to see Gerina win... but still wanna see the streak of The Korean Reign of Terror continue. The Smiling Buddha calls it again...the guy is magical. Ya knew Gerina was getting in her own way when a pro who draws the ball off the tee starts to hit weak fan shots off to the right. Congrats to Jenny....a fake Korean...does she have a bit of an Aussie or Kiwi accent.

Trevino let Calvin Peete win the Milwaukee Open for his 1st victory. I wish one of the Invaders would do the same thing for the Americans.

Oh I forgot...watching Jenny sink putt after putt on the back nine is how you win events.
Amy just can't close them out....she had Gerina often in a rope a dope position and let her off too often.
As someone said....The Hulk's dad is a dope....his plan to handicap Dumbo has backfired...Amy should now replace Ha Na on both the Olympic and Int'l Crown team...while his daughter can't stop crying and can't get out of bed.

They really do need a slam cam in the parking lot. W/ the Konica Minolta Biz Hub slow mo and everything. LMAO Slam Cam....too funny! And MW can be the color analyst due to her experience with trunk slammin.

Congrats to Jenny....a fake Korean...does she have a bit of an Aussie or Kiwi accent. Yes, apparently she has developed an Aussie accent over the last 6 years. I mentioned in the ANA Inspiration thread that it made no sense because she went to high school in Southern California and she spoke like a SoCal girl in this YouTube video from 2010.

Jenny will be appearing on Golf Channel tomorrow. Check it out! That was a really fun and tense battle for the title. It very quickly became a four-way race, and even though I would rather have seen Amy win, congrats to Jenny Shin on finally getting the monkey off her back. There's a very real possibility that the top Korean on the LPGA tour without a win is now Min Seo Kwak, which is fairly incredible considering she is far from a top player. It was a bit frustrating watching Amy. She seemed completely in control most of her round, but somehow she was not making any crucial putts coming down the stretch. Jenny did, especially that stretch where she made several clutch par saves in a row. She deserved it. MJ Hur will probably feel this one got away, but she is certainly playing well right now, so hopefully she will enter the Yokohama, where she has won before, brimming with confidence. Crazy good leaderboard for the Sisters, with 7 in the top ten, including NYC, Sei Young and Ji tied at 7th and Mirim Lee, thanks to an ace, tied for 10th. In Gee just missed a top ten, finishing 13th thanks to her 67, which was the shared low round of the day with Jenny. Given it was windy and she was not having a good week, I'd call that a real touch of class by Dumbo. Congrats again to Jenny Shin. Hwaiting!

Yeah, I found that weird, too. Could it be she trains in Australia? It's also weird to think she's already 23. I still recall her beating Vicky Hurst at the US Girls Junior when she was 13 (!).

I called it FIRST re Gerina...but, I admit it was an attempt at reverse Karma that failed. Gerina is too good not to win eventually, just as Jenny from The ROK was too good to be denied forever.
Yes, Jenny's accent is a little bizarre...and yes, Jenny is easy to look at. Wasn't she Bambam's favorite?!

In Gee's six tournaments; T3, 2, T2, T2, T27 and T13; it's going through circles.
The most beneficial round is the final round of 80 at Swing Skirts; it brought to the attention something was missing and needed attention.
The best round of the year is probably yesterday, it demonstrated In Gee's resolve and her ability to adapt and conquer.
The best is yet to come!

Danielle Kang is Korean American. I mean the best player with a Korean flag next to her name.
