I am not one who you see complaining about TV coverage, but if I see one more shot by Michelle Wie today with a +7 on the top right of my screen, I am going to switch to baseball. This makes no sense. Jacquie Concolino and Candie Kung are bo th h 4 under as I write this, and they haven't shown a single shot by either. Just saw Candie stroking a putt. Tony next time your at a tour event complain to the folks at the TGC. This has been happening for years now.

Finally an enjoyable first round for me. Glad to see So Yeon play well so they would show her. Also MJ, Jenny, Danielle, Sei Young, and of course In Gee. Otherwise had to hope they were near the top last two rounds to see them. I guess I can relate to this, I pull hard for my favorites. But I still enjoy the broadcast. Do you watch the Solheim cup, for instance or is it "Sisters or bust!" No right answer, just curious. Yes I watch the Solheim however I like the sisters a lot. Also my wife is Korean, even though neither of us speak the language. I have been an LPGA fan way before most of the Korean players arrived. As a matter of fact Donna Coponi was my favorite back in the day. It's just that the Korean golfers mostly seem to be ignored the first two rounds. To answer your question, yes I still enjoy the broadcast, if I like the golfers shown. Doesn't have to be "Sister" although I enjoy it more when they are shown. They are the main reason I am on this Forum.

I actually didn't know she was broadcasting on the Champions tour, per her wiki. I wonder if that's current. My first fav was probably Dottie. Thursday and Friday broadcasts are usually not as fun. It's a combo of not showing certain players, but also it's like a rerun of the same ones they do show. It will be nice if SoYeon can get back to a regular on Thursday Friday. In Gee is definitely in there now. We're starting to see a little less of some regulars to make room. MPress for one. I can do w/o Suz P and Stacy but they still get the pass.

In Gee is struggling with winds again, can't hit either fairways or greens.
Need to give it all to make the cut.

You can totally tell when Abbott is announcing a clip that already happened. They should just say if it happened earlier.

Just checked the leaderboard to see how So Yeon is during. Not to good. Of the first forty six players, she is the only one over par. One bogy and all pars so for. This morning she missed a ten footer and six footer birdie. When they went off the air she had a four footer for birdie. She missed that one also because she has no birdies. Her swing looks great, it's not that. Her putting is still holding her back.

It took In Gee 16 putts for 9 holes, winds seem to disturb her on all facets of her game.

The Golf Channel continues to embarrass itself every time they pretend the action is live. The Big Break has more live shots than the professional tournaments they telecast. The coverage takes two steps forward and then three steps back.

Just as hoped, In Gee's bleeding was cut short as the plays were suspended due to inclement weather.
In Gee was even through 10 holes.
The forecast for tomorrow is promising, less windy and no rains.

There is a window at 5:45 PM for round 2 to resume; it would be less windy and better conditions for the players.
@lpga LPGA Another update will be made at approximately 5:30 CDT.
5:30 p.m. CT UPDATE - Round 2 play remains suspended due to lightning in the area.

Yes, the sooner the better. For some reasons, I feel good about her chances at USWO. But, hopefully we don't have to wait that long for her first victory. In Gee is doing fine. She had a little bit of an up and down round, but her irons were ultra sharp and she still walked off with a top ten. And anyone who says she misses too many par saves has a short memory; it was only last month where she made just about every par save in sight in round 4 of the ANA Inspiration. Happy Leave 18majors alone. He's blinded by his LOVE for Dumbo. Yes, I don't think I saw Dumbo miss a putt inside 6 feet at the ANA. It would not surprise me if 18majors had 20 posters of Dumbo in his bedroom and one small picture of his wife on the nightstand.

Se Ri Pak had to WD, when she spilled hot tea and burnt her leg. Unbelievable. This morning: Se Ri: "Hi Michelle, how are you?" MW: "I'm well" Se Ri: "I don't think I'll make the cut, do you have any good excuses for me to withdraw?" MW: "Hmmm...my Dad has many really good ones...but I need them for future events.....but I think if you told the media that you spilled something hot on yourself...it might fool them...they are pretty gullible....they've fallen for my many past excuses....do you remember when Kramer spilled hot coffee on himself on Seinfeld?"
