In Gee and Lydia are tied at 7-7 after 13 rounds. Hey 18M, just being pedantic but 7 + 7 = 14.. I do believe it's 6-6.. lol |

In Gee is a good girl, basically:  After burying a 5-foot birdie putt at the opening hole, In Gee Chun noticed Ko was wearing hair ties around her wrists. Ko told Chun she meant to braid her hair before beginning the round, but she didn’t get to it. So, Chun offered to braid Ko’s hair right there. “I said, `Sure, it’s going to end up way nicer than I braid it,’” Ko said. Ha Na was plus 6 and quit. I bet some Dumbo fans were heckling The Hulk and throwing luggage onto the fairways.....one can only take so much harassment....Ha Na is TOAST....it's only a matter of time when the Koreans will call Dumbo and SYR losers,,,,just like they did to NYC. |

I expected that response from you after her round. I stand by my opinion that she was disrespected. Wasn't disagreeing with you. In fact I totally agree. Sending her out that early in that pairing makes no sense at all. I was just saying that it certainly turned out great for her... and for you. I really enjoy when you two are going after each other's throat....it's much better than any K-DRAMA!!!  |

Round 1 Obviously, the big news is So Yeon's fantastic opening round. Great to see her finally show some results from her swing work. Whenever she contends or wins, she usually gets out to a great start, so I'm hopeful she can keep it up.   Interestingly, this GolfChannel article talks about how tired she is of worrying about the Olympic team. So, I won't mention that, but you know, if she does do well... (nope, not going to mention it!) In Gee's start wasn't amazing, but parsing her stats, not that bad. She hit most of her greens, so it may just be a matter of sharpening her putting. She should improve as the week goes on, so hopefully Friday will be a better day for her and she can put herself into the hunt.  Disappointed by Ha Na dropping out and Inbee's injury. Coupled with Sei Young and Hyo Joo not playing that well of late, it seems like a bit of a down moment for the Sisters.  Nice job also by NYC, but she's been so inconsistent that I have no idea what to expect today. Best of luck to her. Minjee looked really ragged the last few holes. She seems to have gotten off to a better start today so far. Sisters Hwaiting!!!!  |

Three hours in, scoring is much tougher than yesterday; and that's before winds kick up to 20 miles per hour when In Gee tees off.
Any rounds par or under will gain shots over the field.
