Golf is hard to analyze; Wei Ling Hsu had a hot round out of nowhere.
On the other hand; I expect Ariya to struggle and she's lived up the billing thus far.

I may be wrong but Ariya will struggle to get anywhere near the year she had last year. Going all out using three woods and irons off the tee will eventually hurt her game. She had an incredible short game last year, which will be hard to duplicate this year. I still believe that she will have a good year, but not great.

Good first round for Jin Young Ko. Jeong Eun6 had a slow start, but hoping for a better second round.
Speaking of slow starts, Nelly got off to plus three the first five holes. But rebounded to finish the round minus one.
An odd round, Charley Hull made Eagle on the first hole. But made five bogeys and no birdies after that for plus three finish. We use to think birding the first hole was a jinx. I guess making Eagle is a double Jinx.

A lot of bogeys, a lot of birdies; she will be unstoppable when she stops making excessive bogeys.

MI HYANG FIGHTING! Doubled #8, but birdied three of the next six holes...she should be safe for the weekend.
I think The Old Ko blew the tournament, unless she birdies her last two holes. That would get her to +2...the cut line is currently +1, but there's a good chance it could be +2 later. Ariya 51 is sleepwalking through this one, but I expect her to make the cut.
It looks like Greeny slimmed down during the off-season...her face is not as full, or it's an optical illusion. Regardless, she's making up for last week's wipeout.
Meanwhile, Su must have left her 'A', 'B' and 'C' game at 13th Beach...now DFL.

Lydia played like In Gee Chun at 2018 CME Group Tour Championship; shooting +5 when Nelly Korda shot -6.
It put things in perspective; every player is capable of producing beautiful or ugly rounds. The key is to keep on plugging, life goes on.
