don Don't forget both So Yeon Ryu and Inbee Park are still ahead of Lexi in Rolex ranking. Also, don't forget Lydia Ko, Inbee Park and Stacy Lewis were atop of LPGA for more than 3 years straight. The course and set up arguments are so old that it's not worth mentioning anymore. Otherwise, Tiger Woods would have won 10 Masters; Ernie Els and Rory McIlroy would've won Masters more than once. What's true is good ball striking plus light out putting win tournaments. The door on anybody trying to dominate is closing, too. It's a completely different tour than 6-8 years ago. The top 30 scoring average from 2011 to 2014 was 71.0 The top 30 scoring average from 2015 to 2018 was 70.47 2017 alone was 70.09.

LPGA course setups are a sham. Make any excuse for them but it is what it is.
Edit: I meant shameful. The College Women golfers here play tougher course setup than the LPGA.

The par four 16th hole will be the first hole towards the new Aon Risk Reward Challenge which has an end of the year 1 million dollar prize to the winner. Here are the holes for the entire season: Date Tournament Golf Course Hole Par Apr 4-7 ANA Inspiration (Major) Dinah Shore Tournament Course, Mission Hills Country Club, 11 5 Rancho Mirage, CA June 7-9 ShopRite LPGA Classic presented by Acer Bay Course, Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club, Galloway, NJ 9 5
Quite strange that they did not pick the par-5 18th at Mission Hills...the obvious Risk/Reward has been drilled into our heads for decades.
I don't know how they left off the obvious choice at the Seaview, the par-4 16th, which gives you a chance to cut the corner on the right by carrying your drive over the rough and a bunker complex at the elbow.

Wonder why the official website hasn't changed In Gee from Qualified to Confirmed!

I'm not sure In Gee is playing next week; In Gee won't play if as Amy Rogers mentioned there are 26 players on the field PREPARE TO BE STARSTRUCK AT SEASON OPENERHer fellow pros got the message. More than half of the 26-player field is made up of players from outside the United States. They’ll enjoy not only a new 72-hole stroke play event with a purse of $1.2 million dollars, but also be treated to concerts and parties along with their celebrity counterparts.

The strength of field is disappointing:
Five of Top 10 Eleven of Top 20
and only 27 players.
Winner will get no more than 30.0 Rolex points.

Jasmine (right) getting ready...don't know the other person.
C. Kerr said on the recent GC interview that she worked on swing changes during off-season and switched out her irons...looks like Ping replaced PXG. I expect her to be extremely motivated to win...she'll never have it easier, just has to beat 26 players instead of the usual 143.

jumpcut26 means no In Gee; there’s a conspiracy why LPGA.com still lists 27.
