The IG account below has reported nothing on Danielle Kang this week...and it reported nothing on her winning the KPMG last year. I won't speculate on why...or mention that four-letter adjective that starts with f...I don't want to be the cause of someone putting on their pink shirt and quitting this forum. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bf2aXTTDX31

Probably gonna be a big year for Kang. Last few seasons have been improving, seem to be leading up to something bigger. Looks like a top ten caliber player now that she's gotten all serious about her career.
I am getting annoyed with the Seoulsisters. Only one player--Jin Young--appears to have shown up this year. In Gee looking all shriveled up and covered in too many logos. NDL basically acting like her old beloved dog Daoni never existed. So Yeon looking sharp off the course but awful sloppy on it. Inbee with one foot so obviously out the door.
etc etc

No comments today. I don't want to jinx anybody else after I jinxed So Yeon.

Mell melts GC posted 11 articles BEFORE the last round of HSBC Singapore. Usually, only 1 or 2 articles at most AFTER the final round (when an ss player wins). In brief, cricket --> brouhaha (end of 3rd rd) --> hullabaloo (if 1 Merica wins) --> orgasm (if Nelly wins). However, the more Merican wins, the more golf time to watch. I'm OK with it.

The Koreans have never had a good track record on courses where the winning score < -20 (looks like this could happen this week). Not surprising that the one event they won this year was also the one that had the highest winning score. Koreans were all over the Aussie Open leaderboard. It's not going to get better at the Founders Cup, which is usually set up supremely easy, but Kia tends to be harder. If they are getting swamped there and they didn't set the course up easier than usual, I might get worried then. PS, this is Inbee's first event since August. Last year, after a long layoff, she had a top 30 finish in her first event, then won her second one. I think we will see her get her form back by ANA.

The streaming option is convenient. It comes on earlier than the TV broadcast and there are no commercials.
I'm going out tonight to watch a Pac-12 Women's Basketball Tournament semifinal. I should get back in time to catch a lot of the final round. Exciting tournament so far.

Not a great third round for So Yeon, In Gee, Inbee and Sung Hyun. None of them are going to win this week, but it wouldn't surprise me to see one or two of them manage a great final round and snag a top ten. Let's hope they shake the cobwebs off in time for the next run of tournaments. Meanwhile, Jin Young continues to play well. Even with back-to-back 67s, she's still five back of the lead, but she is close enough that she could make a run at this one. Go JY! Minjee Lee has been playing well all year; she's the one I'm rooting for tomorrow. Sisters Hwaiting! Minjee Jin Young Danielle Kang Inbee In Gee Chun (w/ Michelle Wie) Jennifer Song Ha Na Jang Sung Hyun Park So Yeon Ryu Sei Young Kim Amy Yang Jenny Shin Hyo Joo Kim Mirim Lee Su Oh Hye Jin Choi

Lynx? Jen Song looks good with a logo-less hat. Turns out Pure Silk is still a sponsor.

I assume Lynx is only a clothing sponsor for Winbee, because she's gaming the latest XXIO driver and forged irons. ************ MHL during Round Three...her Cally driver has gone Rogue this season...still seems to have Mizuno MP-66 irons with her usual Iomic grips and Matrix Ozik shafts. Round Four...the Mizzy logo on the back shoulder is new.

Alison Whitaker: "It's a gettable golf course. I think we can gather that from the scores today."
Ya think?

During the 3rd rd....they showed Jason Hamilton....I can't remember which pro's bag he was carrying?...Yani is not playing this week.... so he's looping this week for someone else.....JH is back looping for YT.
EDIT...Jason's on Jtibs bag. I bet he's doing a major suck up job to get Jtibs to commit for 6 months so he can kick Yani to the curb.
