Speaking of chocolate, this is the Lotte Championship presented by Hershey. Hershey was the first company to sponsor a professional tournament 80 or 90 years ago. The Hersey Open. Good for them, I'm going to buy a Hershey bar tomorrow. "The LPGA, where even the fans have to thank the sponsors." It's really difficult to find Hershey chocolate bars here. It was tough finding any Hershey bars on the course when I was there last year. I figured with them being a sponsor, there would have at least been a little tent set up selling the things. No such luck.

<HappyFan> Yet another amazing highlight: NYC pitches left handed from the rocks on 18 and somehow saves par. Didn't make the cut, though. This has to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing shots I have ever seen. Not only for the fact, NYC had to shoot it left-handed but also taking advantage of the slope on the green to have her ball gracefully roll towards the hole while a pair of black swans have the best view. NYC Trick ShotI've written this before but it always amazes me how yet another player from the KLPGA is making some noise in an LPGA tournament. This time the honors go to Jang Su-Yeon. Will In Gee Chun be eating Jang's and Katie Burnett's lunch tomorrow?

I've been reading about Dr. Doom In Gee's coach. Sounds pretty strict. I wonder if they players ever dream of running away and joining the circus. Link to the article....thx.

This is Dumbo's to lose...she's surrounded by 3 unproven LPGA non-winners and Bada*s can be a bit too wild. The Canadian Princess can't putt.

Su Yeon Jang's takeaway and downswing remind of Jee Young Lee. If Joanna Klatten gets a top-ten, does she get off the alternate list for the Swinging Skirts? Katie B. has a nice lpga.com portrait. ************ Tom Abbott mentioned Dumbo and Jang going to the same high school. That's Hampyeong Golf H.S., which I covered here: seoulsisters.freeforums.net/thread/809/hampyeong-golf-high-schoolI can't post a photo of Dumbo and Jang from the 92nd National Sports Festival in 2011, but you'll see it if you follow these steps: 1. Go to cafe.naver.com/chuningeepro/2. Copy and paste 장수연 into the search box below the blue banner 3. Hit the green button and hit the line numbered 22549. The one on the far right is Hui Mang Kim, who plays the KLPGA. This threesome finished third in the team competition representing the city of Jeonnam.

Round 3 In Gee really threw down an epically great round today, didn't she? She was already 4 under by the time coverage even started. She managed to shoot a 65 despite a needless three putt and at least two putts that stopped within an inch of dropping. She is hungry, playing great, putting even better, and in a perfect position to win this thing tomorrow. She'll be in the final group tomorrow with an American who has rarely contended and a Korean who won her first ever KLPGA event only last week. If In Gee can get out to the kind of start she had today, she can put insane amounts of pressure on them. GO IN GEE! Sei Young Kim is one of the players who can definitely upset the apple cart for Ms. Chun. She has won here, and despite some dicey stuff on the back nine, is still right in this thing. What to make of Su Yeon Jang? She's obviously feeling it right now, but I would not even say she is one of the ten best KLPGA golfers. Will the nerves get to her, or will playing with her good friend In Gee help her? In her favor are length and deft putting stroke. Against her is her complete lack of experience in this position on the LPGA. It was a horror show for Minjee today, but she's not out of it yet, either. If she can refind what she had the first two days she's a big threat. Nice recovery day for Q Baek and So Yeon Ryu. Both are t-20th. Will the wind kick up tomorrow and throw a wrench in the works? Will there be a lot of low scores out there? Should be fun to watch! Sisters HWAITING!

In Gee finally shot a low round of the day, it took 15 rounds.
The course looked gettable with low rounds galore; but In Gee tied PK for the low round.
Somebody will shoot a 54 on this course when conditions are right.

Golf is such a strange game; both Minjee and Brooke couldn't buy a putt yesterday but there were days when they holed everything.
Expect both of them to have good rounds today and create excitements.

Katie Burnett is in the driver's seat; she is under par all 3 rounds. She wins it if she shoots another 67 today.
On the other hand, Lexi could shoot a 63 and wins; nobody knows.

Ariya is -5, T17, which is OK; but she hasn't seized the opportunity after a great run at ANA Inspiration.
