Wait a second. Is that a 4 leaf clover belt on In Gee? I thought that was Ha Na's thing?

It's the best of time it's the worst of time. In Gee lost to a total of five players, Ha Na, Brooke, Lexi, Lydia and Minjee in 4 tournaments; but has yet to win. 18majors or Gxer Chill.....Dumbo will be OK....2nd, 2nd, 2nd & 3rd is a great start. I think Dr. Won Park is a BJ apprentice....this whole Dumbo injury is a fraud....Won took advantage of the situation and schemed up a story to make Ha Na a villain...breaking the Korean internet with cyber gossip to get Dumbo more exposure for more endorsements in which I'm sure he gets a cut. And if Dumbo fails...he's got a line-up of other prodigies in his academy....he treats his slaves...ooops....students .....like commodities. I'm sure he came up with the Dumbo nickname...knowing it's so stupid...it will get traction...and ensure it's success by making sure DUMBO is on In Gee's golf bag. Well played sir!!

With Minjee win she will move into top fifteen. Probably knocking Christie Kerr off the Olympic team for now.
That's the best news I've heard all week...I think I'll go buy a bag of chips now.

Dr. Won Park DID come up with the Dumbo nickname. He would use it to refer to her when she was at his academy, because her sensitive hearing and inquisitive nature reminded him of a big-eared elephant.
When In Gee first became known, Park would sometimes appear on golf broadcasts as a commentator. During one tournament, he referred to her on-air as Dumbo, which was the first time anyone learned she had that nickname. In the press conference afterwards, the media asked her a lot of questions about the nickname; she seemed to find it very funny.

Are you surprised this article is in the LA Times...if not why?...are the Koreans that influential in LA? Interesting stuff......him....seems like Lotte is acting more like the Chinese than Japanese....lol. I didn't know about Lotte's Japanese connections.....maybe Nomura will be their next pro. For you LA guys...are there several golf courses dominated by the Korean....here in Van City...I'd say 4-5 courses are dominated by Korean golfers. The biggest difference I see in the the Korean golfer demographics are the large numbers of avid older Korean ladies...play either with themselves and also with their spouses.
