The arrival of Lydia, Lexi, Brooke, Alison and Minjee and yes even the Koreans such as In Gee, Ha Na and Sei Young will in time raise the LPGA profile even higher. These are a group of charismatic players compared to the like of Pettersen, Kerr, Pressel and Lewis in the past. Morgan was a whiner and cry baby when she was young but she has matured and a nice young lady nowadays....I don't thing she should be grouped with the other 3. Morgan has been a class act for a long time.

The acceptance or at least modest tolerance of gays in the US is the main reason this is no longer a significant tournament. It is no longer necessary to make the pilgrimage to the Coachella Valley. It is very easy to get a room on short notice at a reasonable rate. That wasn't the case years ago. Might not be that easy to get a room this year...Abby Wambach might have brought her posse to the desert....looks like it will be a drive in, drive out event for you. Is it coincidence of all the LPGA events that this one is covered by Kelly Tilghman? Tilghman is in her element at Mission Hills. You are probably right, I doubt I'll stay overnight. If Dumbo and Ha Na are paired together on Sunday in the final group then I'll sleep at the rest area. by the interstate. Unless I can win at Agua Caliente next to the parking lot. The Indian casinos in the desert are pretty tough on gamblers.

Wambach shows up and it's the most fun anybody has had in a decade. All the little golfing girls there just switched to soccer. Finally a good day in the luggage story I presume.

The UCLA colors fit the region...otherwise, this outfit is a fail. ************** They had a six-hole exhibition of "footgolf" yesterday...on a shortened 6-hole course you try to kick a soccer ball into a 21-inch cup. It was the USA (Wambach, Foudy, P. Creamer, J. Korda) vs. Japan (two world cuppers, plus Ayako Uehara and Shiho Oyama). Uehara...per a translated article, she was well-acquainted with soccer balls in elementary school. The USA lost...but Wambach seems to have won.

Chun came to the United States last week to prepare for the ANA Inspiration in which she tied for 41st last year. The nine-time winner on the domestic KLPGA Tour said she has missed the golf tournament atmosphere and is just happy to be back. "I felt melancholy when I was just staying at my house, hospital and driving range, but being on the green makes me feel better," she said. "Fellow golfers also welcomed my comeback." Chun, who will tee off with Yani Tseng of Taiwan in the first round of the ANA Inspiration, has been gradually increasing her practice amount and intensity. The South Korean said her lower back hasn't fully recovered, but was positive that her condition is improving. "I feel that my condition is getting better as time moves on," she said. Though she can't predict how the result will turn out, Chun promised she will show her best performance to fans, saying the golf course suits her style of play. "Usually for the major tournament, I target a top 10 finish," she said. "I don't know how I will finish at this tournament, but I'm just happy and thankful to return and play the game." english.yonhapnews.co.kr/news/2016/03/30/0200000000AEN20160330004000315.html

It's been a month and she's not fully recovered....I think Dumbo misses the cut.

They're already putting subtitles on the apology: Roughly translated, he asks: "In Gee, I'm so sorry. Is your back OK?" "I'm sorry, too, (literally) Hana's Dad" The below is a nice photo from a few months ago that they dug up to illustrate another article. From In Gee's twitter. Welcome back, In Gee! Her first post in nearly a month: I included my previous post because I'm not sure if it got lost at the end of the 5th page... (see below) In Gee at the ANA! This swing looks good, anyway... With her coach The big moment: Ha Na's father approaches In Gee on the driving range to apologize. Note lack of luggage in his hands. This photo already has 300 comments. And no sign of Ha Na, at least here...

Randall Mell @randallmellgc 4m4 minutes ago In Gee Chun says she hasn't seen Ha Na Jang here yet, but "I feel like bygones are bygones. It's time to move forward...It was an accident"
Just spoke w/ In Gee Chun after pro-am, says she's "85% recovered" from airport mishap where suitcase dropped by Ha Na Jang's father hit her
I wondered did Dr. Won Park translate or In Gee was up to speed in English.

If the Solheim announcement coming up isn't about how to get the rest of the world involved then they are doing it wrong.
