It's true that there are better ways to spend money than by giving to this site... But also do be aware that this isn't entirely free for me. I'm spending a bit more than a hundred bucks a year to keep all of the SS stuff going out of the goodness of my golden heart. Just cause I ain't hitting you guys up for contributions doesn't mean it's free for me!  Thanks Happy....now that I think of it....I think it was the old board was funded by the original owner?  I guess in the URL.....freeforums.net is false advertising. I'll see you at Sahalee. |

Greg Johnson demonstrates his aloofness.....when Foltzy asks him a question...a one word reply.....and when he asks what loft Crusty's hybrid is...he answers 4 iron.....duh.....if I was Foltzy...I would have told him to XXX.Johnson and Crusty are a match made in heaven. That Johnson guy was complete doinker on camera. Must be some history between Foltz and Kerr or that looper. I wonder if one of Whan's henchmen had a word with him later. I never knew much about Johnson prior to Lexi...other than he seemed to be a bag grabber jumping for the $'s.....I believe he has looped for Juli, Tutta, Amy, Lorena?? and I think BJ canned him by phone after a WBO. With Phil's photographic memory he might remember these.....Lexi was only 17 in 2012. 1) At the 2012 USWO...Lexi hit a shot into a cavern with deep grass...rather than go down with Lexi and look at the lie...he was just telling Lexi things from up top. 2) At the 2012 at the Safeway at the 17th hole...Lexi hit a hosel rocket approach...again he didn't go down to look at the lie in long grass....then Lexi proceeded to hosel another shot....she was so shocked and embarrassed....she look like she wanted to pick up the ball and quit....rather than go down and try to calm her down...he did not. 3) A week later at the CN CWO here in Van City....Lexi 3 jacked...as she was walking off the green she was nearly in tears....taking her putter and slamming her back with it....there is a very long walk from the 6th green to the 7th tee without public access.....there is a washroom.....it took forever for Lexi to come out of the washroom....Johnson was at the tee block and never looked back to see if Lexi was alright. OK...I know this is the big leagues and no crying allowed...BUT....this is a 17 yr old girl....as a loop ya gotta guide them a bit more when they are this young....unless their name is Lydia (The Dragon Lady trained her well).....it's not as if he's looping for Juli, Dame Laura or Webb. Worth Blackwelder was on Kerr's bag in 2012...Worth would have been a good loop for Lexi.....father like figure....Worth likely understands how a young aspiring pro thinks....e.g.) Mallory his daughter.....Worth at that time had looped on the LPGA for 33 years....starting in 1980 for his wife Myra (ROY LPGA). Another good older loop is Dan Wilson??....he's looped for Pat Hurst, Aza, etc and recently Jane Park. |

Come up to Sahalee....I'll get The Smiling Buddha to come too....after talking with him for 30 minutes....your level of arrogance will sky rocket and you'll get your mojo back to approach any woman. He can also intro you to Judy....he sweet talked a guy to allow him into the broadcast booth 30 minutes prior to coverage at the CP CWO so he could get a picture autographed by Judy.....Judy is just a very, very, very nice lady....PURE CLASS...Terry Gannon is also nice too. It was the GREAT Tom Abbott who advised where he could find Judy. Another great GC staffer was Stephanie Sparks...she was very striking in real life when I chatted with her at the 2010 Safeway....GC mgmt were morons to fire her. I want to meet Holly....I asked a few staffers at Chambers Bay...but no one knew where she was....I saw Gulbis following Fowler....I didn't see the Shark. |

Hi Cannlinny: If you want to participate then you need to set up your own parameters. If you can't think of anything...here's a suggestion....if Ms Pouty Face does not finish in the top 7: 1) You wear a hat and shirt that says "Dumbo Rocks" at your next LPGA event or 2) For 2 months..... in each LPGA event thread you make 10 comments fawning over the Sista's with a minimum of 3 for the LOVELY HYP and 10 post making sarcastic but funny comments about the Merican diva's. We all await your response? Well, I can't do the second suggestion because I could never compete with the fawning comments by all you fanboys If IGC qualifies for the Intern'l Crown (hope she does) I'll wear something for "Dumbo Rocks", and if Ms Stacy doesn't finish in the top 7 I'll change my birdies avatar to a pic of a SeoulSisters.com button-signed by Jee Young Lee years ago at the State Farm Classic. (Actually, that would be a good avatar anyway.) |

Yes, he has been with a lot of big names over the years, but not necessarily with the groups I have followed. I queried gettyimages.com for greg johnston lpga and it returned 97 photos. It shows he also had Bam Bam in 2007 and Ko in 2014. There was an incident a few years ago (in California, I think) where Inkster, while waiting to tee off, accidentally clunked her caddie over the eye with an iron and busted him open...he was bending down to do something and his head shouldn't have been there! It may have been Johnston on the receiving end; I can't remember. ********** BTW, I was poking around Twitter/Instagram and came across Sue Kim...she recently returned to Canada (temporarily, I assume)...specifically, Bear Mountain Resort in Victoria and The Harvest Golf Club in Kelowna (home base for her coach Sean Richardson). Maybe you'll run into her during your next golf outing. Then you can tell her she's one of your favorites... NOT!!!  ********* Mi Hyang is -2 thru ten holes.  She is paired with Angela Stanford.
