A field of 60 has been posted for this one, which kicks off Friday, 3/25 in Vietnam. Aside from the two KLPGAers invited to the Kia Classic, the most glaring absentee will be Soo Jin Yang. A couple of other better-known vets won't be there as well, Seul Ah Yoon and Jin Joo Hong.

The field has been bumped up to 108. Most of the additional players are Thais, followed by small numbers of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Aussies. SBS Golf will carry all three rounds from 1 to 6 PM (Korea time), but is there are working streaming link? SBS Golf news video: sbssports.sbs.co.kr/news/news_content.jsp?article_id=G10007606491

Round 1
Great start to the season for Ji Hyun Oh! Can this be her season to break through? She is one of the few young players who never played the developmental tours but rather went directly to the big leagues, so her first season or so was probably just getting her ramped up.
Han Sol Ji is two back.

This is a great chance for Ji Hyun Oh to nab her second career win. A three shot lead over one player, five over the next couple, and a huge lead over most of the rest of the field. But don't count out Han Sol Ji. She seems to be coming into her own right now, and it will be interesting to see if she can seriously challenge for the win tomorrow. Go Sisters!

Good week for New Zealand golf, with Cecilia Cho getting her first KLPGA win and Lydia Ko winning on the LPGA.
What makes this interesting is that Cho has really not done much since joining the tour. She was fairly dreadful until last year. She has managed on occasion a good finish recently, but still never really came close to winning before today.
Ji Hyun Oh did not have a good final round, but really it was her start that killed her: she went bogey-triple-bogey on her first three holes. She actually shot par the rest of the day. But her score was fairly typical; almost everyone shot big numbers on Sunday. Only a couple other golfers went under par, and Cho had the lowest score. So it wasn't so much a case of Oh barfing as of her playing a slightly worse than average round for the day while one of her closest chasers went really low.
It will be interesting to see if Cecilia will be a force on tour going forward!
