That was a risk that she did not need to take. If you knew anything about her game, you would know that she could have easily gotten there with an iron. Huh...WTF...so you know how far SHP hits each club based on the course conditions....really? Are you smoking the crack pipe that fanofseri is sharing with Don? I have watched Sung Hyun Park hit a lot of irons shots that distance. Shanshan needed that much club to reach the green Sung Hyun did not. There was no way she was going to stay on the green with a right to left shot with a hybrid. If you didn't have to struggle to break eighty you would know that.

Round 4 Since I've been on vacation this week, I didn't have time or ability to watch any of the coverage. I was considering remaining unspoiled, since I do have the final round on tivo, but said what the hell and checked out the scores. Color me surprised! Congrats to Brittany Lang. I happen to like both her and Nordqvist; though I would rather have seen Amy Yang win it, if we were going to have an American win this thing, may as well be in a year when most of my faves were MIA anyways. And an American I like rather than one of the divas. So, as I surmised might happen, Lydia finally has had her 'Inbee-Park-blows-2014-British-Open' moment. Since I haven't seen the coverage, I can only guess what happened to knock her off the rails, but it sounds like a pretty interesting train wreck all around. Just a few comments as the tournament comes to an end. I'll throw a few more things in once I've had a chance to watch the coverage. Sung Hyun Park has shown she has what it takes to be a STAR on this tour -- in all aspects. Is she a fashion plate? Not in the least. But she has this ready-to-kick-your-butt-and-I-mean-hard aura about her that is different from any other Korean golfer (I'm sure she's perfectly nice, but she has the best poker face this side of Inbee). I agree that she is the one that comes out of this tournament with the biggest shine; people will forget Bethany (er, Brittany) Lang in a week. I found a bunch of tweets and comments from people who watched her swing and play the game with their jaws scraping the floor. In the end, better to be known as a stone cold killer than a fashion plate any day! If women's golf were more popular in this country, this would become a meme: 'SHP judges you harshly': The Korean bombers had a great week, although Mirim did not ever recapture her ferocity from round one. Still another strong Major for her. Amy once again made noise at the Open and once again missed the trophy, and of course SHP. But Ha Na and Sei Young Kim were eerily silent. If this were the Olympics, the Sisters would have collected a bronze from Amy; I think most Korean fans are hoping for a better overall result in Rio. So Yeon Ryu was not happy to miss the Olympic team after all her work to make it. She said that the dual focus on the big tournaments and the Olympics was draining. I wonder how much the Sisters will improve the rest of the season now that that monkey is finally off their backs? Kudos to HJ Choi for winning low amateur. Sisters Hwaiting!

I see that if I click on the player's name (in Korean) on the KLPGA leaderboard, it takes me to the scorecard and (I think) some bio information. It also has the player's name in English.

Sung Hyun Park looks very stylish and distinct on the course to me. We might need a ruling on this from Argonne69.

I guess SHP needs to paint her fingernails different colors and glue costume jewelry on one finger of each hand to get any respect. I think she is the most stylish on the KLPGA, especially when she hits the ball 35 meters past her playing partners.

Are you smoking the crack pipe that fanofseri is sharing with Don? If you didn't have to struggle to break eighty you would know that. Come on up to the Portland event and you can come play golf with BraveDave and I. You'll see me break 80......after I hand you fanofseri's crack pipe and use my eraser ......my 88 will change to 78 in an instance.

Don/fanofseri You're both confused...SHP is a boring dresser...many better fashionista's on the KLPGA & JLPGA.

I think SHP looks like an athlete. Interesting that for the most part players that come to the LPGA are not the fashionistas that often look like they're playing dress up.

I find SHP quite stylish, but in her own unique way. Cannlinny is right, she has a great athletic look, and not a "traditional" KLPGA fashionista look. That's fine, there room for more than one style.
Now, I really do wish she's grow out her hair, and least to the length of Na Yeon or So Yeon. Not at all a fan of the short look.

Thanks Argonne. Even tho she wasn't talking because nobody understood korean i thought it was very intimidating. It's a good look for a competitor. I like that she was willing to die hard on 18 going for the win, which is all that mattered to her. Warrior. Real Joan of Arc thing going for her.

Playing The Woman Card covermeboys.com/There were other interesting groups to follow in the morning but I chose Chun’s because I wanted to see, up close and in person, the different personality and playing styles of In Gee and Stacey. I had seen them both on TV and thought I knew what to expect. I was also excited by the prospect of watching O’Sullivan, one of the world’s best amateurs and a sure-fire professional prospect. I strolled up to the first tee, got right up against the gallery ropes (a mere 15 feet from the teeing ground) and waited for the threesome to arrive. The first player to appear was Chun. With a big, natural smile on her face she acknowledged the applause with a wave or two. Next came O’Sullivan who appeared much more nervous but still managed a smile and a nod to the assembled crowd. Then came Lewis who looked the way she always looks, like she just came from a seven hour IRS audit. No smile, no wave, a slight, almost imperceptible nod to those kind enough to clap for her. After the customary announcement Chun ripped her first tee shot right down the middle. Lewis’s and O’Sullivan’s balls didn’t go as far or as straight but we were off.

Typo....in the article...SYR is the 2011 USWO champ..not 2013. Luv how the author called out Lewis for being a Pouty Face....LMAO. I'm disappointed he never mentioned The Flying Dumbo's...they're AWESOME. Ya...Hannah is brutal...I mentioned before how slow she took to putt her ball on 17. If any watched the USGA feed...it was mind numbing watching how long Lydia and Jason chatted on her 2nd shot on a par 5....ah....shoot me please.

I watched the first nine holes of the final round. What was Lydia thinking going for her second shot over the water from that brutal lie on the 9th hole? With her wedge game and putting, if she lays up, hits a third to 80 yards, I'd wager she has good odds to save par. And no chance of a big number. That was a real brain fart on her part. The big highlight was Sung Hyun Park lofting that sweet iron from the right rough on 7(?) to birdie range and the audience oohing and ahhing. I was actually surprised the galleries were as big as they were considering what I was hearing around here. Not a Lancaster crowd to be sure, but not twenty fans, a few relatives and crickets, either. Did I hear right... Sung Hyun hit a 360 yard drive on Saturday? Wow, even with wind and roll.
