My sarcasm detector tells me Putt is working on an imaginary K-Drama meets LPGA thing that would be transcendent television. Not imaginary....I'm working on a K-Drama version of "Three's Company"....starring The Smiling Buddha, HYP and SKY. This is fun.....and it's only 5 misfits here bantering on ss.com.....I can only imagine the gong show going on in the Korean golf forums....and who said..."the Koreans are killing the LPGA tour?" |

I would only volunteer for pros over the age of 18. I was on George Bush's terrorist no fly list for two years, but I was eventually cleared. I have my papers. Also, I am at an age where I don't have the strength to throw a suitcase down an escalator. Ya right??!!!  .....do you honestly believe Minjee's, GIMME, Dumbo's etc parents would let you close to their daughter.....heck Laura Diaz would turn and walk the other way if she saw you coming.  Yes, Pat Hurst runs for the hills when I show up. |

I already have a working title for a reality show. It is called "The Golffather"
The show will pair the famous overbearing fathers in golf and their player daughters. They will participate in a series of competitions like how long can they stay on the practice range, or how long can the fathers restraint themselves from middling the golf swings of their girls.
There will also be a The Bachelorette type segments, in which the fathers will pick or turn away potential suitors of their daughters.
The 1st season of the show needs to come out with a bang. We need legendary golf fathers.
-Joon Chul Pak (of SE RI Pak). The original golf father, who famously made his daughter stayed overnight with him in cemetery in order for her to "conquer her fear".
-Jeong Gil Kim (of Mi Hyun Kim). Another Hall of fame golf father, who allegedly wouldn't allow her girl to get married until she wins a major.
-BJ Wie. This one needs no introduction.
-Hong Gil Ko (of Lydia Ko). A relative new comer to this list. Started her daughter early and got New Zealand to foot the bill for the entire clan.
And of course
-Chang Ho Jang (of Ha Na Jang). His latest heroics instantly propels him onto this list.

Yes, Pat Hurst runs for the hills when I show up. You better watch your mouth at the JTBC, Kia and fake major and minimize any public smack talk about Pat Hurst....I believe her husband is/was the LPGA Ping rep...so your might get a mouthful of luggage if you diss Pat.....I'm just warning you. So are you going to fanboy Ryann and brag and show-off that you can show her some golf tips at the San Clemente dog track....oooops...I mean muni. Remember...Ryann mom's is a looker....that's enough reason to watch Ryann play....I gotta believe she'll show up for 2 of 3 events....maybe dad too. Ryann moved back to Cali so you can invite her to the hell hole bars you frequent after your range sessions with Ryann. Oh ya....I also expect Ryann's 'God Grand Parents"....as they call themselves....will likely attend these events too...they are both really nice people to chat with....in the off season...Grand Dad was trying to arrange a golf trip out to Bandon with Ryann. Tonyj is a Ryann fanboy...so he likely has met the "Grand Parents' too. |
